Excellent location, right by the jetties and close to everything. The staff was so nice and helpful. The room was very comfortable. The pool was lovely and stayed open until 9pm. The breakfast was good.

Wow! This place is amazing. I have been to George Town many times and this is by far not only one of the best places to stay in Penang, but also one of the most unique and memorable hotels I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. It is literally the old mansion of a wealthy Chinese family now converted to a very comfortable hotel. I can go on and on about how great this place is but let me tell you the rooms a big, beautiful, comfortable, quiet and unique! The interior courtyard is great for hanging out and the staff is super friendly. This was our second time staying at this hotel and we can't wait to return.
