The Blue Mansion is beyond an hotel. Spending a few days here it's a unique experience as the building is a museum itself and is well kept. It really feels to live in the tradition. Tradition aside, the hotel doesn't lack anything a modern hotel can offer from services to very good breakfast to a small but nice pool.
We tried the Indigo restaurant as well and food is very good.
Highly recommended!

This hotel was exceptional. It’s a beautifully maintained heritage hotel with echoes of the past (great “lift” for your luggage). The staff we superb, full of advice, laughter and helpfulness. The bedroom we had was large, cool and character (in the right way). It’s a small boutique hotel and we never had to ask for a room key - they knew which room we were in each time we arrived back.

Will stay again and recommend to others. The location was very good. Just a couple of mins to Komtar and other malls. Street food and eateries within walking distance. The microwave and washing area make the stay more convenient. It was good to have plates and utensils provided. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Appreciated that.
Location wise was very nice. You can just walk to Komtar or nearest shopping mall 1st Avenue. Easy to go anywhere. Hotel also provides ample space to park your car. And parking was easy to access

Clean towel and a bottle of water everyday 👍. Each room has their own bathroom so it was convenient. Got free laundry because I stayed for 3 night. Perfect location, near chowrasta, komtar, and art street.
My first time stay in JEN Penang. Parking was so easy. Room not so spacious but very comfort and clean. Located in the heart of Georgetown. Easy access to Komtar, Padang Kota, Lebuh Chulia and so many more. We take Grab car to Padang Brown for dinner for only RM5 one way. Breakfast is so so good. Variety. I really enjoy the meal. The Nasi lemak, chicken curry, lamb kurma, fish teriyaki are superb. Recommended.

Location is great, I think. Kind of a border between the old and new city. Komtar is quite near. Kimberley street is too. Lot of nice food locations, grocery stores, laundry, etc.

Renovation of the building where hotel resided was done very accurate and with care. Air conditioning works great. No problems with hot water.

It’s an old building renovated to hotel. All facilities and decorations was new. Nearby (2-5 minutes walking) to halal food restaurant such as sup hameed and restaurants in the komtar buiding or first avenue shopping mall. Didn’t have time to use the swimming pool(4 feet/1.2m), we just take quick look at the pool. Breakfast for 2 person was included in the room rate (i choose room with breakfast).
