A lovely hotel with courteous and helpful staff. The room was big and the bathroom huge. The balcony was excellent and had chairs and a table plus sun loungers and parasol. Everything was very clean and the mini bar was stocked free on arrival. Huge and very comfortable bed. Flip flops and robes provided. We did not use the pool, which is downstairs and looked quite small. The location is right near the historic old town, jetties, Little India and China town. So much to eat and drink around there.

I left my passport and staff was very kind and helpful.
It’s an old building renovated to hotel. All facilities and decorations was new. Nearby (2-5 minutes walking) to halal food restaurant such as sup hameed and restaurants in the komtar buiding or first avenue shopping mall. Didn’t have time to use the swimming pool(4 feet/1.2m), we just take quick look at the pool. Breakfast for 2 person was included in the room rate (i choose room with breakfast).
Everything was nice. You've got a fan and AC in the room, clean bedrooms, a wardrobe, a private entrance, and you've got access to a fridge and drinkable water. There was two bathrooms and a little living area. The place is close by Komtar's shopping mall, restaurants and an excellent French bakery. The owner is also a bonus for this place, a real sunshine a s very helpful.
It is new and I got a pretty spacious room at a very good price. The owner who I chatted with and the manager were friendly. Though we shared bathrooms there were five of them on the floor, so it is OK. The location is also very good; the hotel is near Chew Getty and Komtar Bus Terminal.
The location, everything was walkable in George Town. It was good value for money. We had a room with shutters that opened, which was good. The size of the room and bathroom were good. Plenty of shower gel and shampoo. There was complimentary tea, coffee and water. The communication was good for an easy check in. It was within walking distance of Komtar bus station. This is our second visit to Treasure Hunter.
Room is clean, bed is comfortable. The hotel staff are friendly, patient and having good service attitude.
Location is great with easy access to Komtar Tower and Jalan Penang.

Was charmed by the historic looking house. It has a very old, world look and feel to it. People who love spending time and enjoying the wood work and know about history of George Town through pictures should stay here. It's right in the centre of the tourist places like the Little India as well as Little China, apart from being just 2kms from Komtar which is the city centre. The hostess Ms. Tiara Putri really knows how to take care of the place as well as the guests.
