I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of everything, making it easy to explore the city’s top sights. I like the historical background of the house. It is a unique experience to live in an old Chinese house with a courtyard. I also like that the hotel has no TV, so it may allow you to detox from gadget, if you choose to do so.
The staffs were also friendly and shared many restaurants for us to try. The place is quite central too, actually if it was not raining, we could have a nice and enjoyable walk.

Food wasnt what it used to be, with char kuey teow being fried at 2 to 3 plates at the same time. Just go there for nostalgic purposes, but food around chulia street and other places is far far better.

Host Weyky was very responsive to messages/emails. Location was within walking distance to many food outlets, including those along Jalan Burma. Waterfront area along Gurney Drive was also great for a brisk walk each day. Check in and out process was a breeze. Carpark bay also included. Security staff were also very friendly. Apartment is fully equipped and great for families. Very clean as well.
This is a comfortable clean hotel with friendly staff in a very convenient location in Gurney Drive. We appreciate the water provided daily and there were umbrellas when rain.
The unit was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. Pool and gym were great. The self check-in process is well explained and very straightforward. The local area has easy bus transport into the old town, although you can walk in 30 minutes or a Grab is very cheap. Lots of hawker food and restaurants within a few minutes walk. If you're not staying in the old town, Jelutong is a much better area than Gurney Drive area.
The location is strategic. It’s located near Penang’s famous food hawker called Gurney Drive (5mins walk) & it’s nestled nicely in between 2 malls (Gurney Plaza & Gurney Paragon) for ease of getting things that you might need or just for a quick shop. The facilities are great (they have a gym & a swimming pool that are clean & well stocked). Breakfast buffet was tasty & also has a good variety on a daily basis.
Room clean and comfortable. Location near to Gurney drive. Front desk provide good and fast service. Housekeeping team provide good service after requesting. Restaurant environment very nice.
The location, near the gurney drive and shopping mall. Even located on the busiest road , the hotel is near to halal eateries. The hotel lobby got a Turkish restaurant. Helpful staff. The safety door is great, water pressures are good , air-conditioning works well.
