Room was clean and there's sufficient lighting.
The house keeper Nobi was very responsive. Room was not made up as we forgot to put up the signage. A call to Nobi has him coming shortly to provide the necessary.
The rubber mat on the floor for the wooden stool is a good idea to prevent it from sliding when you climb over & out of the long bath. I feel there should be another rubber mat in the long bath too to avoid slipping.

Food wasnt what it used to be, with char kuey teow being fried at 2 to 3 plates at the same time. Just go there for nostalgic purposes, but food around chulia street and other places is far far better.

The location is strategic. It’s located near Penang’s famous food hawker called Gurney Drive (5mins walk) & it’s nestled nicely in between 2 malls (Gurney Plaza & Gurney Paragon) for ease of getting things that you might need or just for a quick shop. The facilities are great (they have a gym & a swimming pool that are clean & well stocked). Breakfast buffet was tasty & also has a good variety on a daily basis.
Room clean and comfortable. Location near to Gurney drive. Front desk provide good and fast service. Housekeeping team provide good service after requesting. Restaurant environment very nice.
The location, near the gurney drive and shopping mall. Even located on the busiest road , the hotel is near to halal eateries. The hotel lobby got a Turkish restaurant. Helpful staff. The safety door is great, water pressures are good , air-conditioning works well.
The place is very clean, nice and just next door to Gurney Drive (food stalls) and shopping malls. The hotel also provide free and secure parking area for hotel guest. Can just walk to Gurney Drive without worrying about parking spot. For muslim, there are many halal foods such as nasi lemak, laksa, pasembor, oyster omellette, sate, seafood and many more in Gurney Drive halal section.
The best part is the hotel staffs is very friendly and helpful. We feel very welcome and really enjoy our stay here and definitely come again. Thank you.
