The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The hotel is much prettier on person. The staff was very friendly. My spanish isn't very good and the staff spoke just enough English that we were able to communicate without any worries of misunderstanding. When I go back to Mérida, this will be where I stay. The food was very good. We had dinner and breakfast the next morning. I highly recommend staying here.

Beware when buying a trip (from any touristic agencies that sell them). Check the distances and traveling times: highly recommend visiting the attractions near Mérida (if you're staying in Mérida).
If you plan to visit the Cancún area, it's better to stay in that area than travel all the way from Mérida.
The tour agencies try to sell these trips as incredible experienced but they're really overpriced as you spend 4-5 hours sitting in a van (each way) and very little time at the destination. It's exhausting, too rushed and in my opinion, not worth the money or the time!

Well worthwhile an afternoon spent around the square.
Well worthwhile an afternoon spent around the square. All buildings are free to enter, and everything has a/c. Beautiful artwork, beautiful architecture inside. We managed to catch a visiting Picasso exhibition for free, and found some really adorable sculptures down a sidestreet. And if you tire of wandering around, there are always cafes or icecream shops around the square where you can sit and watch the world go by.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Mérida and was thoroughly impressed. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the Zócalo and the main square, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The staff were exceptionally friendly and included arranging taxi services for us. Overall, this hotel offers a prime location and attentive service, making it a great choice for anyone visiting Mérida.
Location, location, location! Walking distance to the main square and other attractions.
Miguel and José Maria at reception were extremely helpful! Made our stay A+. Thank you sincerely!
Hotel was clean and comfortable. A little dated…
This is a beautiful property near the center of Merida, about a 10 minute walk to the main square. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe walking to and from the hotel at night. The pool is refreshing after a hot day exploring and the staff are wonderful. Breakfast each morning was delicious.
Very new and super clean apartment, with all the accessories needed in the kitchen and the bathroom, new ceiling fans, AC, good mosquito nets, and a very strong WiFi. Perfect for my remote work, and it's only within 10 min walk from the main square. The owner was very responsive and helpful as she allowed us to check out a bit later.
A short walk (10 min) from the main square, the neighborhood is also near the new Rail Park (La Plancha) which is bound to be a great future attraction. The hotel was lovely and quiet. The neighborhood is a mix of small hotels and some commercial and light industrial areas. Easy to walk to nearby restaurants and attractions in central Merida.
Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful second floor of the hotel. Located 10 minutes away from the main square. Breakfast was simple but nice - coffee, juice, bread, fruit and yoghurt. In general located in a quiet area of the city.
Carolina and her staff took wonderful care of us. Splendid breakfast on poolside patio. The place is peaceful. Took us (we're over 80) 20 minutes to walk to the main square, but ubers are inexpensive and frequent. There are more central hotels but they tend to be on traffic-clogged and noisy streets.
We liked the location of the hotel, being a few blocks away from the main square. The price was excellent too, but we were surprised when they tried to charge us an extra 350 Pesos for extending the checkout by just 1 hour. Also, if you're choosing the twin bedroom, be aware that those rooms are in the modern extension of the house and not in the main colonial building. Try to opt for a double room, then you'll get the high ceilings and authentic Merida hacienda feel.
Lovely boutique hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the main square, but still very convenient and quick to get all the restaurants, stores, etc. We intentionally looked for a place away from the crowds, but still convenient to use as a base while we explored Merida. While the parking was not onsite, it was still in a private and secured parking location.
