We came from a warm climate to a cold one so that was an adjustment for us which made us stay inside more than normal. This had nothing to do with the apartment though except that we were content to relax there and grateful for close-by places to eat.

The only reason to visit Podgorica is its airport.
The only reason to visit Podgorica is its airport. The Ostrog Monastery, about an hour and a half drive away, it also worth visiting. But otherwise, do not waste even one minute in Podgorica city. Land, rent a car, and head straight elsewhere.

If you like chill little town vibes that still has a friendly social nightlife scene, I think podgorica is a great choice. The area between independence square and the millenium bridge is tons of fun to bar hop at night, and the locals are super friendly. Most speak English too. If you're respectful, humble, and ask friendly questions, you will have an amazing time :)

We thought It was a very ordinary city with some terrible residential buildings looking like pre Russian days in the East. Did they have anything to do with this dreadful designs I have no idea.All in all very small old town with a nice mall and a lovely Orthodox cathedral,

No more than one day (maybe half a day) is needed for Podgorica. The top things to do in Podgorica involve leaving the city and going somewhere else.
The restaurants are cheaper than the rest of Montenegro by a wide margin and the food is good with large portions.
The museums are terrible. I mean, genuinely awful. One room buildings filled with plastic sharks apparently passes for their Natural History Museum.
We saw everything Podgorica had to offer a tourist within 4 hours.

The house has great location only 5 minutes from the main attractions of Podgorica. The rooms were very clean and spacious, I genuinely thought of booking the house for a month simply to enjoy myself. Our host Luka was also very friendly, he picked us up from the airport and we went to an Independence Day celebration concert in town, which was only 2 minutes away from the house. He made us try local drinks and answered my questions about Montenegro, super friendly and helpful!

-Helpful staff at reception desk. They did provide me some recommendations about Montenegro, they did book a taxi when I needed, and they did even print for me bus timetable when I asked.

-Good location in centre of the city (15 min walk from bus station, 20-25 min drive from the Airport).
Perfect location, in the very heart of Podgorica city center and all sights are in a walkable distance. There is a possibility to park your car free of charge, but it depends on time you'll try to do that. A flat is relatively small, but comfortable enough and is equipped according to hotel standard. There is Wi-Fi, also small balcony. Check-in was easy, the representative arrived on time as agreed in advance.
Very convenient location if you plan to arrive or leave by bus or train. Friendly and cheerful staff. The hotel organised two airport transfers for me and everything went great. I had a super early flight out of Podgorica and very much appreciated the 5 a.m. packed breakfast with water, juice and a light sandwich.
The hotel's location was very convinient for us because we wanted to see the city center on foot. The room was specious, bed was huge and comfortable. The view was really nice as well. We had a lunch in the hotel restaurant and it was delicious. We will go back to this hotel next time we are in Podgorica.
