After withstanding WWII, the tower of this church-ruin is the longest-standing structure in Jelgava. Today, it hosts exhibitions covering archaeological finds, national folk dress and civic celebrations of, amongst others, Latvian presidents – the surrounding Zemgale region has produced four heads of state.
