It felt like you were in the jungle. The breakfast was delicious and massive. The room was big and the shower was great. The staff and service was fantastic. The pool was also nice to have after some sweaty hikes.

Pool area and outdoor terrace was really nice and cosy. The terrace is slightly secluded. The place was really quite so one can get a good nights sleep. Its walking distance to Sigiriya but back we had to take a tuk due to exit was further away from the entrance.

Our family of three stayed five nights in two spacious rooms upstairs. We loved our stay here! Hotel is new, very fresh, clean and relaxing. Rooms have private, lovely rice paddy views and the pool is just divine. Bernard and all of the staff are super helpful and thoughtful. There’s lots to do around Sigiriya and Bernard helped us each day with advice and arranging transport at good prices. Breakfast is delicious and varied. Highly recommended.

Fabulous trip to see Sigiriya - we booked our own tuk tuk.
Fabulous trip to see Sigiriya - we booked our own tuk tuk. Be aware that you probably wont 'finish' at the same car park where you start - you are funnelled past the gift shops to a different car park so we had to find our way back to our driver.
Also considering that most of the dogs we saw in SL were well fed by locals we saw too many v thin dogs here, which was horrid considering the cost of the ticket...
Make sure you go early if possible- large crowds when we were coming out at 8:30am so would have made for a v v slow ascent. If you go early it is lovely and quiet.

Go as early as possible to avoid the crowds and heat. Bring water. Bypass the rock frescos at the top of the spiral staircases. There are guards there and they do not permit photos. You can take the walk way behind the spirals. If there are many people you will only get to see the frescos for about thirty seconds. It is better to view the copies and history at the museum.

A lovely stay and very friendly owner made us feel at home. The food was amazing, especially the breakfast. And the location was amazing you can get a great view of the Sigiriya rock from the hotel. Overall a pleasant stay!
Their hospitality and service was exceptional. Banda gave us first class treatment by driving us around town and being our personal guide. He even showed us elephants. The breakfast was delightful with a good mix of traditional and western food homemade by his wife. The hotel was very close to the Main Street with lots of cafes and restaurants. It was fun to see monkeys on the trees at the hotel. It was a nice view to Sigiriya rock from the hotel.
The hotel is beautiful and secluded in nature - very peaceful yet really close to the nearby attractions including Sigiriya rock. The rooms are a really good size, very clean and our son’s suite looked brand new. All the staff were very kind and a really extensive breakfast.
Lovely family hotel with an amazing swimming pool which can compete with most 4 or 5 star hotels. Fernando and his family and staff made us feel very welcomed and well looked after. Our room was nice and simple and very clean. The food (dinner and breakfast) was delicious. View of the Sigiriya rock from the dining/breakfast area on the top floor. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night but would definitely stay again if we decided to come to the area again. Very good value for money.
Absolutely superb hotel in Sigiriya.
The team on site were amazing, helping to arrange hotel transfers as well as transport for a sunrise hike of Sigiriya Rock. The hotel location provides a great view of both rocks and food at the restaurant was excellent.
A wonderful hotel! It's stylish and coexists with nature. The arrangement for Pindurangala was quick and smart! For breakfast, there was fresh juice, lots of fruit and a grilled hopper! There was a pool and the rooms were very spacious. It was a 15-20 minute walk to Sigiriya Rock. I definitely want to go back! There was also a family of monkeys that came to play near the hotel. As long as you don't leave food lying around, they won't do anything. I definitely want to go back to this hotel! Thank you!
The hotel has a lovely design and pool area. The rooms are cosy and clean. The food is tasty and the staff are very friendly! It is also the perfect location for exploring Sigiriya and climbing Sigiriya Rock.
Nice and simple rooms, with great breakfast, and the most amazing host! Spoke English well, and gave us lots of tips and tricks. Helped us get on the right bus on the way to polonnaruwa. Hostel is walking distance to Sigiriya rock. Highly recommended.
Staff were amazing as usual in Sri Lanka. They had a pool as well which was clean and so lovely in the afternoon. Dinner and breakfast were delicious! The hotel can organise everything from safari to hiking the Sigiriya rock etc
