I loved the whole experience and recommend this place without hesitation. Thambu illam is elegant and comfortable with beautiful furniture. It is small, once the home of the owners, and the staff are impeccable. I was genuinely taken care of by the staff, who were very helpful and attentive. It is quiet and private.

Staff is extremely helpful and friendly, food is amazing especially Christmas buffet with the Jaffna crab curry. Gym and pool were fun. Hotel is close to the town and Yazhpanam train station. You can walk to closeby restaurants such as Jaffna Authentic Cuisine and also walk to Jaffna Library, clock tower etc. Driver we booked through the hotel, Prashanth, was also lovely and was like a tour guide, educating us with important information about places we visited and learning with us also.

The location is just central. Right next to the Jaffna Railway Station. The property is a cost villa that has been refurbished. Would like to see a pool coming up in the property
Very large and clean dormitory with bathroom. Confortable bed and fans. Staff helpful and kind. 20 minutes far from jaffna railway station and 5 minutes from bus stand. Market 5 minutes walk and plenty local restaurants nearby. I enjoyed yaarl hostel very much.
The rooms at the hotel are good, and it's near to the Jaffna railway station. Secure parking is also available on the premises. A Jaffna-style breakfast is served as a buffet, and guests can order lunch and dinner from the restaurant menu. The prices on the menu are very reasonable. Overall, it's a great choice for comfortable accommodation and satisfying meals.
This is a newly built hotel. You can walk or hire a tuk to go there from Jaffna railway station. The bed ia really comfortable. The size of the room is bit small but as we didn't spend much time there it was alright for us. The boy in the reception is very polite and friendly. He also lent me his foot cycle to go to the neat by ATM.
