Home away home. It was beyond my expectation and everything was perfect. The room was very clean and the view from was amazing. The food was very freshly prepared and very tasty. One of the best stay and I would recommend anyone who is planning to come to Nuwaraeliya. Definitely, The best option with reasonable price.

If you get up early you can see the hills reflected in glassy water - but after about 8.30am it all gets churned up by motor boats and jet skis racing up and down as Sri Lankan families enjoy their days out. You can walk around the lake but keep your initial entry ticket as you have to pass through repeat entrances and may get charged multiple times.

The apartment was roomy with large windows that let in plenty of light, and the furniture was high-quality. It had a well-equipped kitchenette and was very clean, with fresh towels provided. The toilet had instant hot water, just like in Europe, which was a nice touch. The location was great, offering a beautiful view of Gregory Lake.
Hotel owner Damodar is very active person, caring each & every guest in excellent manner. Location is very nice, next to Gregory lake. Breakfast is very tasty with both Continental & Srilankan options available.

The owner is lovely and very helpful. He let us put the backpacks in the room even if it wasn't prepared yet and he explained us all the activities to do in the city and in the area. He also prepared a delicious sri lankan breakfast.
We had also dinner in the hotel as the owner provides a delivery service from a local restaurant
Everything was great - no downside really. This was a boutique hotel crafted on the English/British theme. The views were good though couldn't see the gregory lake overlooking from the hotel which other hotels may offer.
This was one of the best decisions I made during my trip to Sri Lanka. I received a warm welcome from the staff there. The place is very clean, warm, and relaxing. The food is five-star quality—no joke. It was really delicious and well-presented, thanks to Chef Steve and the hotel manager Malinda for taking care of me during my stay, and thanks to the rest of the team, Srikant and Moghan.
Location is good, there is a supermarket near band it's close to Gregory lake. There is hot water for shower.
What a beautiful apartment by a beautiful host! It was so convenient to reach all our required destinations like gregory lake, the gardens and the town. The beds were grand and accomodating. I felt as thought we were in England which is probably why the area is called 'little England'. Needless to say the people were so friendly and accomodating.My family and I could LIVE here. You will most definitely see us back in this penthouse on our next visit to Sri Lanka 😊
We reached a couple of hours early at the hotel but we didn't face any problems and delays checking in. The caretaker was very helpful and also provided us a room with an awesome view. The caretaker was fasting during the Ramadan season, but despite that, he was always available to help and made sure we are comfortable. He also prepared breakfast earlier than the normal operating hours since we had a train to catch. The hotel is also located at a walkable distance from Gregory lake, so the location is also a plus.
The hotel was very well situated not far from Gregory Lake and the Grand Hotel which can be reached by catching a tuk tuk. There is also a restaurant/bar in walking distance which serves very nice Sri Lankan food.
