EVERYTHING WAS BRILLIANT. This was the greatest hotel I have ever stayed at in my life by far. The reason why it was the best was because of all the amazing and unique things about the place. Firstly, the staff were ABSOLUTELY amazing, friendly and fun. They always accommodated for every single need I had. Secondly, the “movie theatre” theme of the hotel was nothing short of brilliant - we got free popcorn and even a free mini bar!!! And this mini bar was re-filled every single day! I have NEVER stayed at a hotel that was so kind. Thirdly, we had access to significant discounts at the cafe downstairs, the converse store, the pharmacy and other places which saved us so much money - these were significant discounts. Fourthly, the rooms are spacious and unbelievable well priced. For the experience that I had, I would have paid hundreds of dollars more. Finally, the location of the hotel was second to none. It was absolutely central to all the action in myeongdong, a 1 minute walk away from the night markets but there was never any noise issues I experienced in the room.
I highly recommend everyone to stay here and I have to give a special shout out to every single staff member for being brilliant. These staff members we so bubbly and friendly and took a genuine interest in our experience. The staff members gave recommendations for where to go, movie recommendations at 1AM because I wanted to watch a new Korean movie and made changes to the minibar to be in line with my religious dietary requirements.
I have stayed in hotels all around the world - Europe, UK, Japan, Australia etc. and there is no hotel which comes close to the brilliance of this hotel.
Thank you Hotel 28 and I will definitely stay here again when I return to Seoul. I hope every single staff member that worked January 10 to January 12 gets rewarded for being such brilliant people. Much love!

Everything about this hotel was great - the location is central and RIGHT next to a metro and the central market. The rooms are huge and the decor is amazing. Very special. The hotel decor is also very original and nicely done. It's very good value for what you get.
The staff are very friendly and on hand.
We did the "happy hour" one night and the food was great and included unlimited food and drinks which was very good value.
There is free parking right in the basement.

Hotel was great. Spacious family room. Staff were lovely (especially Eunsol in the breakfast restaurant who made us feel very welcome). Will definitely stay again. Locations was convenient for the palaces and it was an easy walk to Myeondong.

They gave me presents and cooked for me at the hotel. They introduced me to Korean traditional food like Kimchi pancake and healthy mixed grain shake. This hotel is located within walking distance of Myeongdong Shopping Street, Restaurant, Olive Young, and Seoul N Tower. The price is also lower than other places, but the room was very pleasant and tidy as it had just been remodeled. The bed was also very fluffy. I will visit here again next time.

Good location. It is within walking distance to Exit 10 of Myeongdong Station and the Myeongdong shopping street. There is also a bus stop for airport limousine so you can get to the hotel conveniently via the airport limousine.
Fantastic location next to Myeongdong shopping street. Tour les Jous bakery is just next door. Get out via exit 7 (escalator) or 8 from subway and walk 1min. Airport limo bus just round the corner. There's free luggage storage lockers for 12h, free coffee, tea, water in the lounge on 11th floor, plus 2 coin laundry and dryer. A modern and clean hotel which I enjoyed staying in.
Location is very good, just a few minutes walk from Myeongdong Station. And right across the street from Myeongdong Shopping Street. Room seems newly renovated, and are clean. Room amenities were basic but sufficient for our stay. Housekeeping was good, our room was cleaned daily. There are self-laundry facilities but we used their in-house laundry service. While definitely pricier, it was convenient and service was satisfactory. Airport bus was also conveniently located near the hotel.
The location is superb. Near to the subway station, walking distance to Myeongdong shopping street. Lots of restaurant around, 711 just below the hotel. There is also a coin laundry inside the hotel, very convenient.
I love the location. It’s away from the busy myeongdong shopping street but also close to it which makes it easier to access buses and trains and shops. I also love how clean and comfortable the hotel is
Love the location of the hotel. The train station, airport bus stop and Myeongdong Shopping Streets are right at your doorstep. Also, the hotel is very clean and the hotel staff are very nice. I really appreciate the heated bed in Seoul; it adds an extra layer of comfort and warmth, especially during colder seasons.
