Location is good, just besides exit 4 of Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station. Note there are 70+ steps to climb at exit 4. Fortunately, there is an elevator at the same exit, especially for those with luggage.
Room is rather small. Bed is comfortable. Room has air con or heater, which can be remotely set.
Free coffee sachets and tea bags are available in front of reception. Breakfast is from 0700 to 0930hr. It is a buffet style, mainly Korean dishes, though there are bread, buns, and a small selection of salad. Good enough to start the day. Guests can leave their luggage before check-in and after check-out. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Upon check-in we were excited to upgrade our residence to a level higher, and we were also greeted at the residence with a gift cake for my birthday.
Communication with all the staff was excellent, the room was cleaned daily and very well. The room itself (residence) was a great size and also liked the instructions for the appliances (washing machine, hob etc). The breakfasts were amazing, there was a buffet with local specialties as well as the more usual European breakfasts.
The location of the hotel is convenient for visiting many attractions (near 3 stops of different branches of subway and buses). Very close to the hotel there are convenience stores, as well as shopping centers with popular stores, pharmacies.
