Beautiful hotel and I think the nicest is Lamu town. Beautiful pool in a central courtyard. Restaurant was relaxed and plentiful servings with included breakfast. Staff very friendly and I appreciated the glass water bottles, and sustainable use of reusable shampoos in glass bottles.

I loved my stay at Jua House! As a solo traveler, I was initially a bit apprehensive, but the warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately put me at ease.
The breakfast and afternoon tea with cake were truly a highlight. The food was delicious!
I had the pleasure of meeting some incredible people. Kijani House and Peponi restaurant are a walking distance which added a wonderful social dimension to my trip.

The house is wonderful, spacious, luxury and quiet. Bassam is a great host and the staff are excellent too. We had a great time exploring from here or just enjoying doing nothing much at all. It is a bit outside Shela, but not that far and a nice village walk.
