The hotel is absolutely stunning, great pool and an amazing bar and restaurant. The staff is super friendly. We got upgraded to an apartment which was really nice.
On 200 metres of sandy beach and direct in the Watamu National Marine Park, Turtle Bay is one of Kenya’s most extensive all inclusive hotels.

We loved the traditional style with the white washed buildings underneath cool makuti high roofs.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Always attentive to everyone’s needs and ready to help.
The buffet style meals were excellent with plenty of choice to suit all tastes.
The location opposite Turtle Island directly on the beautiful white beach is perfect. A visit to the Watamu Marine Park is a must. The variety of gorgeous marine life is a feast for the eyes.

It was incredible, great walks during low tides, very friendly staff and comfortable room.
Mida Creek Hotel has to be one of the most undiscovered gems in Africa. The most incredible place to unwind, relax and soak in the coastline. This is our 4th time visiting year on year and we look forward to coming back every year :-)
This is a small (only six rooms, I think) hotel on the 'other side' of Mida Creek - opposite the concentration of hotels and restaurants on the northern mainland. It's and small number of other guests and secluded location on a bay in the creek means that it's calm, secluded, and feels almost like a special private home. That said, it's still super easy to get to the other side of the creek with a small private boat (free transfer once a day) that takes you there in 5-10 minutes.
Beautiful and super peaceful place to stay on tranquil Mida Creek. The staff were super helpful and the tour we booked to the UNESCO heritage site was excellent.
Great host family! Everything is very authentic and lets you experience the real experience. We were very well taken care of and it’s a great project! The food was amazing and the Mida creek tour is very recommendable.
Super friendly staff, really helpful they made us really feel at home. The location was great, a short tuktuk ride away from beach, but also close to Mida Creek and Arabuko Sokoke Forest. A nice quiet little piece of paradise. Thank you Agnes and Juliette for all your good care!
This place is simply amazing!! Although it is a small lodge, it is a very nice building and it has anything you need.
The staff organises a lot of trips (we went with the boat at sunset in Mida Creek: we strongly recommend it!).
We felt like home thanks to the owner (Justin) and to all the Staff 😃
Right on the peaceful beach, comfortable room, very friendly community of staff, conservation volunteers and visitors. Good food. Insights to environmental projects and easy to get around Watamu. Loved the Mida Creek boardwalk and the Crab Shack.
Nice resort and room with Swahili décor in a great location overlooking the ocean and Mida Creek. Food was good. Very nice pools (saltwater). Air conditioned.
The stay at mida creek nature camp was the most beautiful thing in all of Kenya that I had the honor to know. Both Harrison and Daniel were very nice and friendly, they can both offer you a program if you want, and also advise you about the options in the area. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. I highly recommend it to anyone who is planning to relax and learn about the local culture.
Very clean and modern rooms. The main pool area looks great and the restaurant serves good food. Breakfast was delicious too, with fresh fruits and juices, pancakes, and fried eggs upon request in any way you like, among other things. One of the big perks for me personally was the beach access and lounge area. I walked the entire beach from Hemingways until the inlet of Mida Creek, and I didn't come across another hotel with such a peaceful seating area right on the beach.
