The location was directly next to a major train station, making it easy to get to from the south and move on to Osaka or Kansai International airport.
The room was large and comfortable with good river views and nice spa.

Its brand new and I arrived on the first day of operation
I arrived at the hotel around 6 pm, and to my surprise, they offered me a free late dinner. The hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Wakayama Station and conveniently close to the shuttle bus station for Kansai Airport.

5 mins walk to wakayama station where buses were available to travel around the city.

Super spacious. cannot get this in Tokyo, Osaka or any of the other cities.
Very convenient location right next to JR Wakayama station. Can catch city bus and taxi right outside of hotel. Clean room and comfortable bed. Smaller than American chain hotel rooms but comparable to a veranda cruise ship cabin without the veranda. Electric kettle, bottled water and tea provided. Hotel has system for room cleaning in which you choose how often cleaning is done. Located next to department store with food, beverage and grocery options. Also many delicious local restaurants are within walking distance.
Near the hotel, although a word of advice would be to go out from the central gate of Wakayama Station, turn right and take the elevator down to rhetorical basement, go through the underpass and take the lift up on the east side to get to the hotel. Serves a good breakfast. Rooms were big and beds were very comfortable!

It takes 5 min to walk from Wakayama station to this hotel. It is very convenicent. And they are many restaurants around the hotel. Room is not so large, but enough space. Breakfast is gorgeus and many options. All staffs are very kind and friendly.
The hotel is right across from the Wakayama Castle. The view of the castle from our room and the breakfast room was excellent. The hotel practiced strict hygiene rules at breakfast, the quality of which was very good.
Although it looks like JR Wakayamashi Station is nearer to the hotel on the map, it is much more convenient and direct to get off at JR Wakayama Station. The taxi ride to the hotel from there is 1,000 Yen.
View of the Wakayama Castle 🏰 is amazing from our 18th floor room.
Took a bus from Wakayama station to the hotel opposite the castle, taking maybe 7 minutes. Very easy.
Restaurants and combini store available in the building.
Decided to stay 2 extra nights, negotiated with the staff and happy we didn't have to move rooms. Thank you so much for that.
