Location was good, opposite Wakayama Castle. Located above a small mall with a convenience store, bakery and a few small restaurants. There were also other convenience stores and small restaurants nearby the hotel. Car parking was at a 24/7 public carpark, directly opposite the hotel. We booked a family room, huge size with 4 beds, very comfortable plus the room came with a washer/dryer in the bathroom. Extremely convenient.
I had a fantastic view of Wakayama castle! Service was great too. I needed to have a parcel delivered to the hotel before my arrival and they were very helpful with that! I'd love to stay again and enjoy the view once more.
We stayed for 2 nights to explore Wakayama. The hotel is in front of Wakayama castle which is interesting to explore.
The room was clean and spacious. We didn't have a view of the castle but the room had a nice view. The best part was breakfast buffet with lots of options. It was one of the best breakfast. There was a big bookshop underneath, which was a bonus for us who are book lovers.
Stylish hostel with comfortable beds, big common area, delicious bar/snack options in the evening and near Wakayama castle. Each shared room also has its own shower room and toilet.
Very good location and clean nice rooms. We were very happy with the breakfast and the nice staff. If you are going to visit Wakayama Castle which is next to the hotel, we recommend this hotel. It is also easy to walk around Wakayama from the hotel.
Awesome hostel. Had possibly the best coffe I've had in Japan at the bar, as well as some crazy good basque burnt cheese cake. The bar is beatiful and the hostel itself is very nice as well. Rooms are super big. Location is very convenient, not far from the train station and close to Wakayama Castle and a lot of great restaurants.
It was a great place to stay in Wakayama. I was travelling alone with a car to explore Wakayama Prefecture. The hotel did not have a car parking but had lots of nearby car parks which was great. The hotel itself is located in a very centralised area. Walking distance from the Wakayama Castle, and just a few steps away from a main shopping street. Very easy to access.
