The bed and the pillow is the best I’ve ever had on Shikoku Henro so far. I took a wonderful rest there. And the hostesses are so kind that they try their best to communicated with you. It’s really the albergue for pilgrims on Henro :)

This is a traditional fisherman’s cottage which is being renovated by the owner - who is a fisherman himself. The kitchen, which he built himself, is really stylish and welcoming. There’s a big dining table which doubles as the communal space. Bedrooms vary between tatami mats at the front of the upstairs and back ground floor, and bunk beds at the back of the upstairs.
The bunk bed rooms in particular (where we were) are fairly basic but very clean and the beds were very comfortable.
