Loved it here! We had lunch at the Kirby Cafe.
Loved it here! We had lunch at the Kirby Cafe. Reservations are a challenge, but worth it for the incredibly themed place and food. (Watch YouTube videos for reservation tips.) The shopping was so fun! A Kirby store, Pokemon Center, Marvel store, and a Harry Potter Pop-up store were favorites. You could easily spend all day shopping!

The best spot to get a city view, and you can see Mt Fuji on a clear day. THE best attraction for 360 degree views and worth the fee. I wouldn't bother with any of the other fee paying viewing attractions, like the Tokyo Tower of Fuji Observatory. Go for sunset. There's no time limit for staying up there and it has a bar. Not many places to sit down

Nice view and nice insta photo spots.
Nice view and nice insta photo spots.
Tip 1: Take the 1st batch of the day. It will be little crowd and you can have plenty space and time to take photo. The staff will not chase you out.
Tip 2: Alternatively, can choose between evening and spare about 2 hours to experience day view and night view.

The decision to do the galleria (combo) was somewhat difficult. To justify the additional cost, and after reading reviews that suggested buildings become blurry at that height.
I can confirm that although impressive at 450 meters, it did not feel more special than at 350 meters. The definition of the city became diminished at that height. However, the separate elevator did add to the experience.
If you are likely to get FOMO, just book the combo (if not, you will pay a premium there). If you cannot justify paying more than necessary to enter - take comfort knowing your aren't missing out on too much.

Tokyo Skytree has the highest observation decks in the city, but that is basically all. It can become very crowded and it is quite far from most interesting places. I enjoyed the outdoor observation platform of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower much more for example and other nice observation decks are even free.

Well worth a visit - day or night this place is perfect.
Well worth a visit - day or night this place is perfect. We went both in the morning, then came back at night to see Tōkyō in lights. Pay the extra cost for the 450m access - the views are spectacular.
Keep an eye out for the lifts - we saw all 4, a beautiful touch to the experience.

location is great! It’s in a quiet neighborhood near to Tokyo skytree. It’s my first time in Tokyo and asakusa is really close (walking distance close) and Ueno as well. I love the vinyls and decor of the place, it’s a really cute house.
there’s a lot of things to explore like cafes and restaurants all in a 5-15 minute walk
This accommodation has enough space for 6 adults plus the luggages. It had everything we need. And from the balcony, it has a beautiful view of the Tokyo Skytree at night. Location was adjacent to Sensoji temple, a nearby small supermarket and convenience store is just around the corner.
I like the quiet area, the access to a combini, nice view of the Tokyo Skytree. Very close to Sensoji temple too and a nice view walk crossing the bridge from train station to the apartment. I also like the access to a washing machine, they are also kind in providing detergent and the dryer is really good that it dries our clothes quickly. Some staff speaks English and are helpful when we have question about sending our luggages to the next hotel.
Tobu Hotel was within walking distance to Kinshicho train station, there's a mall just beside it, which house McD, Uniqlo, Gu, Daiso....and Don Quijote is just across the road. The best is still the view of Tokyo Skytree [If your room is facing the direction], if not there's a nice shot of the tower just along the road. Food options are also plenty, you be spoilt of choices. You can also book the Airport limousine to & fro Narita, and they provide free shutter bus to Disneyland as well.
Rooms are okay for Tokyo area, hotel rooms are comfortable, view from 26 floor was great, we didn't even bother to book Tokyo skytree or Tokyo tower after staying here. Easy accessible to shopping, food and fun (arcade and bowling nearby) with 7 eleven below. While near to Kabuchiko, touts were not pushy and never bothered us.
It is situated by the river - I had a room with a river view and it was lovely laying in bed in the evening, watching the city in lights. All was clean, staff was super nice and welcoming (as everywhere in Japan). They have a lovely rooftop bar with a view of the Tokyo Skytree - I ordered fish and chips and this was probably THE BEST fish and chips I've ever had! I'll probably stay there next time.
Clean and tidy apartment with essential amenities ready for you to use. The staffs made us feel welcomed during our stay here. We came for our honeymoon and the owner especially prepared us gifts. Lovely neighbourhood with plenty of food options and convenience stores. 5 minute walk to Oshiage Station which connects to many train lines and 10 minute walk to Tokyo Skytree.
Nice hotel in a great location. The staff were very nice. The amenities they had on offer were good, including different types of tea at the tea and coffee station. Our room had a great view of Tokyo Skytree.
This hotel is the one if you love the festive vibe of Asakusa. It's located at the center of busy shops alley, plus if you like Fuglen, Uniqlo, or Donki, this hotel is right in front of those shops. The biggest satisfaction for this hotel is the view of Sensoji Temple in line with Tokyo Skytree from the 11th floor. It was a spectacular view from above, especially during sunset and night time.
