The size of the room was good by Japanese standards. King bed was huge. Location had good access to rail station. Hotel Wifi was good. Roof top area was nice.
Gorgeous building with so much history, excellent location, huge room, ridiculously comfortable bedding, opulent yet not overbearing design, luxurious bathroom, robes and rain shower, high end amenities, proper room service trolley with crisp white tablecloth and napkins, fantastic buffet breakfast including coffee to order (which seems rare in Japanese hotels) and outstanding bilingual service from staff.
