One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. There were subtle beauty in everything - from the artwork on display to even the little spoons by the coffee cups were tastefully selected.
Every single staff we interacted were attentive and extremely warm without being "too friendly". We felt very well taken care of throughout our stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed roasting marshmallow and having a peaceful moment in the record room & library too.
As our son was still young, we opted for the room service dinner. We got to enjoy the same delicious food as the Italian restaurant on the fifth floor but in the comfort of our own room.
We highly recommend driving to this hotel.

Super close to the station. I think it was only a min. But there wasnt any restaurants near sakudaira station i think. The combini is a 10min walk away too.
The breakfast is really nice and homely. Its cooked by two grannies and their cheerful morning greetings are really sweet.
The room is comfortable. I have always like toyoko inn chain
