The bed was big and spacious. Staffs were very friendly and professional. Very good service from the staffs. Shuttle bus was handy to the train station. The meals at the restaurant was excellent and delicious. A must try the set meal. The omicho market was just across the hotel. The waygu beef skewers were so delicious and melts in your mouth. Love the seafood in the market, we go there everyday.
The room was a decent size and very clean. The bathroom was well stocked with products you would need and in addition there were things available in the reception area such as toothbrushes, bath salts etc.
The reception area itself was very pleasant, with modern decor and coffee available all day which included the local product gold leaf sprinkles!
The hotel was in a good location, very close to the Omicho Market.
We've booked this hotel as it is very close to the train station, the Omicho Market and the castle. And I have to say it was at the perfect location. The bus from the train station stops right in front which is great if you are traveling like us with a lot of luggage. The Omicho market is 2 minutes away, and the castle and the Kenroku-en are like 10-15min walk. Many 24/7 shops around and a Starbucks across the street.
The room was great size and very clean. Overall we had a great experience and I can recommend the hotel.
This charming hotel is in the perfect location in beautiful Kanazawa — right behind Omicho Market and just a 15-20 minute walk from the station and all main sights. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with spacious, comfortable rooms in traditional Japanese style. The staff couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful. A total gem of a place to stay!
Everyone has to take shoes off at the entrance of the hotel. This was great. Otherwise, Westerners will insist on wearing outside shoes inside all the time. We basically treat the entire hotel as our home and walk around our hotel in bare feet.
Omicho market is aroubd the corner and we went to buy fresh fruit and bento boxes. Pharmacy nearby is so handy to get some quick medication.
This is the best hotel we have stayed in Japan so far, and we will definitely come back again for a longer stay, as 3 nights are not even enough.
The hotel was close both to Omicho Market and Kanazawa Station.
The building itself it's pretty charming and the room was pretty big for japanese standards. Also, it's a true 4 stars hotel, providing the amenities you would expect from that level (and even more).
Last but not least, the staff: every person working there made us feel welcomed and pampered, even beyond the (high) japanese standards.
One of my favourite hotels of the trip, the Mitsui Garden Hotel was situated in close proximity to Omicho market and only a quick bus ride to Kanazawa Station and Kenrokuen Garden. Great Japanese bathing facilities and a lovely room. Would definitely stay again next time I travel to Kanazawa.
The room was beautiful and quite big especially for Japan. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Aircon was quiet. Bathroom was also quite nice. I also love the convenience of the luggage locker room being self acessible with unique locking codes. This hotel is also right across the road from omicho market.

An ultra modern hotel, well situated for the castle and Omicho market. We had the Japanese style rooms which was a great experience. The rooms were quite basic and there are different levels to navigate which might be an issue for some people but this was I think mainly due to the style of room that we chose.
