We were expecting a 2 star experience and got a 5 star personalised feel. The staff were so accomodating, helpful, genuinely kind and friendly. The location is right across the road from the Omicho Markets and a walk away from everywhere, the canals, geisha city, baths, shopping district, castle and Kenrokuen Gardens. The cafe bar downstairs was perfect for a short stop before heading up to bed or out for the day. We loved our robes! We were so taken by this little gem of a hotel and look forward to returning. We wish we had stayed longer in Kanazawa!

Excellent location meters away from the iconic Omicho market. Good coffee on the tiny café at ground level, friendly staff and a super competitive pricing for a comfortable room. The lack of amenities is actually a good thing as the hotel is eco friendly. Bikes available for rent. The overall vibe is very nice. Recommended.
The room was beautiful and quite big especially for Japan. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Aircon was quiet. Bathroom was also quite nice. I also love the convenience of the luggage locker room being self acessible with unique locking codes. This hotel is also right across the road from omicho market.

An ultra modern hotel, well situated for the castle and Omicho market. We had the Japanese style rooms which was a great experience. The rooms were quite basic and there are different levels to navigate which might be an issue for some people but this was I think mainly due to the style of room that we chose.

Everything. It's like a muji hotel at a fraction of the price. The room was very nice, clean, and spacious for Japan standard. One of the better public bath I've been to in hotels. They provide free coffee yogurt after bath which was a nice touch.
Front desk was nice and very helpful. They helped us make restaurant reservation and online booking for yukata.
Location was excellent. Right accoss omicho market where you get some of the best seafood in japan.
The Omicho Market is just a road cross beside Soki Hotel, and we really enjoy the fresh sea food there. The Price is cheaper compared with other big cities in Japan. They also provided you with very nice breakfast.
The feel was very luxurious. The design of the whole hotel is very modern and beautiful. Because it's also a daytime spa it smells really wonderful.
The bed was comfortable. It was designed to be Japanese but with a real modern feel to it.
The location was exceptional. It was a bit of a walk to get to with luggage (you can also get a bus or taxi), but it's located right across the famous Omicho Market. Which makes it even better.

The aesthetics of the hotel is quintessentially Japanese. The room was really comfortable and quite sizeable for Japan. The location is also fantastic, being directly opposite the Omicho Market, super close to many great neighborhood restaurants, and a brief walk to the castle.
