We were pleased with so many different parts of our stay here for 3 nights - from the warm and comfortable room which is especially important during winter, high pressure showers, clean and modern interiors, loads of table top space, friendly and very helpful staff who helped us with making a dinner reservation even before we arrived, great breakfasts that change everyday, extra treats like a welcome snack and nightly udons, and a rather central location walking distance to most attractions at Kanazawa.
We stayed in many boutique hotels before and this is definitely one of the more memorable ones!

This charming hotel is in the perfect location in beautiful Kanazawa — right behind Omicho Market and just a 15-20 minute walk from the station and all main sights. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with spacious, comfortable rooms in traditional Japanese style. The staff couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful. A total gem of a place to stay!
Everyone has to take shoes off at the entrance of the hotel. This was great. Otherwise, Westerners will insist on wearing outside shoes inside all the time. We basically treat the entire hotel as our home and walk around our hotel in bare feet.
Omicho market is aroubd the corner and we went to buy fresh fruit and bento boxes. Pharmacy nearby is so handy to get some quick medication.
This is the best hotel we have stayed in Japan so far, and we will definitely come back again for a longer stay, as 3 nights are not even enough.
The hotel was close both to Omicho Market and Kanazawa Station.
The building itself it's pretty charming and the room was pretty big for japanese standards. Also, it's a true 4 stars hotel, providing the amenities you would expect from that level (and even more).
Last but not least, the staff: every person working there made us feel welcomed and pampered, even beyond the (high) japanese standards.
One of my favourite hotels of the trip, the Mitsui Garden Hotel was situated in close proximity to Omicho market and only a quick bus ride to Kanazawa Station and Kenrokuen Garden. Great Japanese bathing facilities and a lovely room. Would definitely stay again next time I travel to Kanazawa.
The room was beautiful and quite big especially for Japan. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Aircon was quiet. Bathroom was also quite nice. I also love the convenience of the luggage locker room being self acessible with unique locking codes. This hotel is also right across the road from omicho market.

An ultra modern hotel, well situated for the castle and Omicho market. We had the Japanese style rooms which was a great experience. The rooms were quite basic and there are different levels to navigate which might be an issue for some people but this was I think mainly due to the style of room that we chose.
