Everything was great, but the bathroom was very tiny. I traveled with my kid and husband, so for the of us, the room was abit tiny. However, every guest house in Japan is tiny, so i can’t fault them. Staff members were great, speaks English and mandarin, and they’re very helpful. My favorite part is how they have a common area where we can eat our meals and chill.

Our apartment was clean, comfortable and reasonably sized for Tokyo. The kitchen area has a double induction hotplate unit , a microwave and an oven/grill. There was a washing machine with supplied (and replaced) detergent. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Asakusa is a quiet part of Tokyo. Twenty minutes walk from Ueno Station and Ueno Park and Zoo (pandas!). About the same distance to the underground. We also walked to the Skytree.
I would recommend this apartment hotel and would happily stay there again.

This ryokan is just fantastic - friendly staff, super super comfy bed, generous sized room for Tokyo at a very reasonable price. Plus it’s just a few minutes from the Chiyoda line and a slightly longer walk to Nippori station. 100% wish to return, and I would check the Katsutaro for availability first before searching for hotels on my next trip to Tokyo
Peaceful location within an easy walk to Nippori station with great connections. The neighbourhood is quaint. The property itself is very neat and tidy with extremely helpful staff. The space is small but very well organised so doesn’t feel small.

Property is on a quiet residential area with some local restaurants and next to a 7/11. The couple who run the property are very helpful and friendly. 8 minutes walk to Nippori Station.
There is everything you need in the room such as kitchen, bathroom, tv, 1 bed, 1 sofa bed as well as mini washing machine. The room is also bigger than we expected. Its more than enough for two people.
I arrived before the check in time and Im able to leave my luggage in the guesthouse.
Its only 500 meter from Nishi Nippori station. The neighborhood is quiet and not too crowded. It has no disturbing noise when sleeping.
Second time I stayed here. Excellent location close to Nippori station. Easy to reach from Narita airport with the skyliner. It's in a fun area to see things that are perhaps not as well known but definitely woth to see, but it's quieter then say Shinjuku. Good train options from the station to explore the city. Room was spacious.
Location is good for transfer to airport but please note that there is a small slope on the way to nippori station (12mins by walk) although there is a slope with ramp but do take into consideration when planning with heavy luggage.
Staff at reception are nice n respond swiftly with good english command.
