Nahe am Bahnhof liegend. Innenstadt zu Fuß erreichbar.
A spotless hotel with a decent-sized room (by Japanese standards) and very close to Matsuyama Station. The price was quite low but the quality was high. Would stay again.
Our room was spatious, super clean and tidy. The bathroom was huge !
The hotel is 10min away by foot from Matsuyama station (JR) and right in front of the castle.
I liked the closeness to the Matsuyama station, not realizing it was the hub for buses and trams as well which we utilized using the Day pass from Iyotetsu (via Jorudan transit app). Reception/staff was friendly and attentive. There was bicycle rental available for anyone. The cafeteria food was similar to our experience in Kure location, however, there was take out option to your room.
The hotel is an excellent location, super close to the Matsuyama Station (about 15-16 min walk). The hotel staff were kind and helpful and the room was really spacious and comfortable. The pillows were super comfortable and the WiFi was quite fast as well.
Close to Dogo onsen station. To avoid confused taxi drivers at MATSUYAMA station, arrive no later than 9pm and take the tram. From the tram go left to the covered shopping street, left 1st exit, next block left by the pub, to the end, turn right. building on yhe left 30 meters down. The left door slides to open. They close at 10. The is an 800 yes charge per 30 minute late check-in. That's why not later than 9pm.
The room was quite spacious and had a very big TV. There was a bath and shower with shampoo, soap and other amenities, as well as a small fridge. The hotel is very close to Matsuyama castle, about a 15 min walk to the ropeway entrance. The hotel is about a 20-25 minute walk from Matsuyama station, or you can take a streetcar. There is a convenience store across the street to buy any food or supplies.
