Beautifully designed hotel. The rooms are huge and havw great views. We had the teppanyaki for dinner which was superb. The onsen was a really relaxing experience.

The hotel is in oku nikko which surrounded by nature. If you love nature or snow in winter. This is a perfect place to stay. Outside Onsen also surrounded by snow but unfortunately we cannot see the star that day.

Friendly staff. The room was big and very clean. We had dinner there and it was awesome. You can choose between japanese and continental breakfast.

The onsens are really the star of the show at this hotel, and the time we spent bathing under the stars, with the sound of the river and the forest at night will be something I never forget. The natural beauty of this place is beyond words and there was a real allure to the isolated nature of the location (even if it is a challenge to get to!). The free shuttle from Meotobuchi Parking Lot was easily accessed with minimal Japanese speaking, and the hotel staff were all polite, helpful and accommodating to us as the only foreigners visiting on a busy weekend.

Located in Nikko and only 1.1 km from Kegon Falls, Okunikko Guesthouse JUN provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

The common area was really nice and extensive. There was even a library that one could use to read and relax (note that all books are in Japanese). The view onto the lake was really nice as well, from the common area. The staff was really nice, professional and accommodating.
