It was my most extraordinery accomocation in Japan. We spent here 2 nights in the 2 room family suite with own bathroom. We used the small onsen on the groundfoor as well. (The tattoos was not problem there.) The vegan breakfasts and dinners were very delicious (even my son said, that it was great. 😀) The staff can speak quite good in english. The morning ceremony is a must, you can feel the peace in your heart. We took a walk in the sourrounding temples, cementary and in the mountains. This place is like an other world. I wish if all the world would be the same. Thank you for all!

The guesthouse is authentic and Nori is a great host, very welcoming. There is a common room with tea, water available. Good and clean (shared) shower facilities and toilets. The futon bed was comfortable (ticker than other futon's I've slept on) and good pillow. Koyasan is beautiful, especially in the evening when day-tourist have gone. A couple of restaurants in walking distance. Unfortunately, we did not have time for breakfast, because we had to leave very early for our flight, but I would expect the breakfast to be great too.
