In this area, the price of this house is very cheap. There is a shared living room downstairs. Tonight, there are only three rooms occupied, so it’s not crowded. My daughter was able to study at the table in the hallway all evening. It’s very quiet.
Conveniently situated in the centre of Takayama, HOTEL WOOD TAKAYAMA provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking.

The location in Takayama was brilliant, very easy to walk into the old historic town. I suspect if you haven't got your own transport, then you might get a bit bored pretty quickly. The historic area isn't very big. `We explored it in a couple of hours. The hotel was fine, full of tourists (many of whom had no respect for local traditions) but it was more than adequate

Generous sized room compared to others we've had in Japan. Right next to the train station and coach station. Old Takayama easy walking distance. Nice touch of free drinks in our fridge. We were a family of 4 and had 3 nice firm beds. We were also given vouchers for a drink in their cafe.

We stayed in the family room and it is spacious.
Very happy that the kids can see the film from projector while we watch TV in the room. Laundry is free. We enjoyed the stay.
