The check-in process was easy with detailed instructions and a tablet in the entrance. The hostel was beautifully decorated and felt really comfortable and welcoming! I travelled with my family so my aunt and mother were alittle skeptical about staying in a hostel but the wonderful atmosphere completely dispelled all of their worries. Everything was so clean, and the communal area (kitchen and lounge) had all the basics ready for us to use.

The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. I had initially booked what I thought was a private room, but turns out it was a shared room with open beds, which had no privacy. I opted for a bunk with a blind for privacy.
Thankfully there was nobody above me, but I felt bad for the noises made by opening and closing the blinds.

Location is great. Not that far from the train station. Walkable to and from Aoshima shrine. There's a bus stop right in front of the lobby. There's a supermarket about 3mins walk away. There's an elevator. They give you a little towel for the onsen as a souvenir. Shower stalls and toilets were nice.

2) Very friendly and understanding host. Bcos we are a family of four, arranged a room with only 4 single beds instead of bunk beds in the dorm.
3) No issue for parking, free parking.
4) Strong wifi
- The location is very close to Aoshima Shrine and Aoshima Station
- The pillow was comfortable + there was an extra blanket because the room was cold
- The guests I met there were lovely! But this has little to do with the guesthouse and more to do with luck.
