We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The hotel is in the center, it has nice rooms with everything you may need (even umbrellas). It was clean and the personnel was extremely helpful providing us all the information needed. The metro is 3 minutes away from the hotel and the bus stations as well. There are also plenty of places to have your breakfast and your lunch. The hotel was giving you the possibility to make your coffee/tea and have juice for free whenever you may wish.

Villa Borghese
A grand setting for a grand collection. This 19th-century palatial repository was built to house the heaving collections of the Habsburgs. Among its current 30 million artefacts, you can peruse a multitude of meteorites, a dedicated dinosaur hall complete with Diplodocus skeleton and the delicate Venus of Willendorf fertility statuette that dates from 25,000 BC.

Incredible!
Incredible! The Villa Borghese is an 80-acre park, built in the 17th century to appease a local magnate. It features arches, statues, art museums, film museums, classical temples, and even a lake with a temple in the middle, and ducks and geese and turtles just sunning themselves. It is lovely; you can easily spend an hour or even more here, just relaxing.
I took a walk here three times while in Rome. Even so, I'm sure I didn't see even a quarter of it.
Don't miss the Galleria Borghese, a world-famous art gallery with sculptures by Bernini, and paintings by Titian, Raphael and Caravaggio. Book early to avoid disappointment.

I can not really evaluate the villa as we did not get to visit. When we arrived we were told tickets were sold out until the end of May. We did not know we had to book tickets beforehand. We could come back early in the morning 8.30am to get a spot on the back-up list and hope to get in around 4 pm. Which is just a very unpractical solution.

Worth the half hour walk to it, though could have just taken the bus from Termini; cafeteria food was welcome relief while waiting for the assigned time slot.
Buy ticket on line if schedule is important.
The centuries-old original artwork of Benini, Caravaggio, and others are incredible.

Plan most of the day here.
Plan most of the day here. The grounds are expansive and you'll be walking a lot and visiting smaller museums along the way (many are free). The main museam is small but intense -- plan for several hours there.

Fantastic property, very spacious, clean, and well equipped. The location is perfect - a quiet area in close proximity to the city centre and villa Borghese.
The landlord is very friendly and responsive. Property access instructions were accurate and clear.
The location was perfect, outside of the center but easily reachable by taxi, plenty of restaurants and shops around, Villa Borghese park a few minutes walk.
Room very confortable and spacious. Nice bar at the entrance.
Very nice hotel! The room is clean, good location (15 min to the Fontaine Trevi, Villa Borghèse etc). We were surprised by a beautiful breakfast proposed to us (I didn't know it's included in price). The receptionist was very kind and told us how to get to different locations in the city. I definitely recommend this hotel!
I'll stay here during my next visit to Rome.

From the airport you can get a train to the central station, Termine. Here you can get a 'Rome Pass', for either 2 or 3 days, the latter being about €25. This gives you free access to the metro as well as all buses, so getting around is very easy. Although it is more enjoyable to walk the city as most of the attractions are close by and you get to experience how the city feels. The Rome pass also offers free entry to 2 attractions which also allows you to queue jump. The Coliseum is naturally very popular so making this one of your freebies is a good idea. Also the Villa Borghese is a bit more expensive than other attractions, so again a good choice as a freebie
