The hotel is dated needs refurbishment but the staff is great and location is also very good. The stairs at the entrance was also not a positive thing for the hotel.

Uffizi Gallery
What makes Florence the epicentre of art? All of it; but specifically the Uffizi Gallery. Its collections cover the ages, but its darlings will always be Renaissance born. You won’t find a better Art History 101 refresher. Hours wilt away inside this U-shaped mansion. The Birth of Venus tops many a best-of list. Better book tickets in advance – the masterworks cause quite a queue.

Get tickets for 8:15 AM, go with nothing but your camera and don't check your coat. Head directly to the Botticellis, and then to the Da Vinci's, Raphaels and the Michelangelo to enjoy them without the crowd, and then double back for the Gothic paintings. Do NOT make the mistake of pausing to view sculptures on the entrance level. Do NOT get distracted by the Gothic masters. Speed walk to the Botticellis and then the Ninja Turtles or you'll be viewing them across crowds jostling for selfies.

Packed with stunning art work including “Spring” and “The birth of Venus” by Botticelli. We looked at most of the works and spent 3 1/2 hours there. The queues were long, I’d advise prebooking your tickets.

1. DEFINITELY get "skip the line" tickets. 2. Don't forget that you still have to wait in line to exchange the "skip the line" tickets for the admission tickets. 3. Don't forget you then have to wait in line with all the other "skip the line" ticket holders to actually get in. Plan accordingly and enjoy the FABULOUS art!

My second time going: make the reservation, folks!! You want to get in early and take your time. I wish I knew more about the ceilings and walls of the actual building. I must, must, must see for anyone slightly interested in art. I can't wait to return again!

Excellent location in the centre of Florence. Steps away from the Duomo and easy walk to many places like Mercato Centrale, Uffizi Gallery and Accademia.
I had an amazing stay at Hotel De Lanzi in Florence! The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city with easy access to all the major attractions. Whether it’s the Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, or Ponte Vecchio, everything is just a short walk away. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The rooms were cozy and well-maintained, making it a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Florence!
The well appointed apartment with all the essential amenities. The unbeatable location right next to the Duomo amd the square. Short walking distances to Ponte Vecchio bridge, market central, statue of David, Uffizi Gallery etc.
The staff, particularly Antonio!! Wonderful customer service experience from him. Helped us with early check in when our train was cancelled from Rome Fuminico.
Location is perfect. Easy to walk to the old city, Duomo Cathedral, Uffizi Gallery and the train station.
Thanks Rafael for hospitality. Cosy apartment, it was nice to find cold water and beer in the fridge :)
Note: google maps (if following the link from booking.com) show the location on the river side. The entrance is actually on the 'town' side of the street.
The location was perfect. We could see the Uffizi Gallery from our lounge room window. It was very centrally located yet very quiet. It was very secure and a good mix between a private spacious apartment and a hotel with a reception if we needed assistance.
The apartment is in the perfect situation, close to both the Duomo and the Uffizi gallery. Monica the host was delightful, always ready to answer emails and help us with suggestions for restaurants etc. The apartment is spotlessly clean, and offers all you could need to cater for yourself, or use the surrounding restaurants and bars. The decor is tasteful, and waking up each morning to the beautiful ceiling in the bedroom is a delight.
Apartments are very central, just around the corner from the Duomo, Cafe Gilli (best coffee) and short walk to Uffizi gallery and Ponte Vecchhio. Super comfy bed and great shower. Francesco was fabulous host and very helpful.
The place is few meters from Uffizi gallery / Neptune fountain and bang in the center of city surrounded by restaurants, attractions and all the activities. The place is good for 1-2 people. Edaurdo allowed to check-in early at 1pm and met me to hand over the keys. The place has elevator which is a huge plus in Florence and the ac cooled the place in peak august heat. The room is equipped with tv, wifi and has a fully functioning kitchenette. The bed is comfortable and sleep quality is great.
