A beautiful location away from the hustle and bustle of positano. A wonderful view!! Great location if you want to hike path of the gods. Carmela and the whole staff are kind and friendly. The breakfast they make is delicious!! They make you feel at home.
The view from the shared balcony was beautiful. The best thing though had to be that the hostel had so many guides available that would walk you through the best way to get to the beach or to the path of the gods or amalfi etc that made it so easy to get around. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful. I had multiple questions about booking taxis, porters, busses, restaurants, and hiking the path of the gods, and the staff not only answered applicable questions, but facilitated the bookings and reservations as well. The hotel was also conveniently located, clean, and a good value. If you are planning on staying in the center city of Positano, I'd recommend this hotel.
We had such a wonderful stay - Enza & Alberto are just the best hosts, giving us great recommendations for the Path of the Gods hike as well as the walking paths in town center. Petrea is in a perfect location above Positano - you get a slice of local life while being close to the town center. We also particularly enjoyed the steam room that is equipped with speakers! There’s nothing to not like here.
The property is absolutely beautiful. The location is great, easy access to Path of the Gods and Positano. An authentic breakfast every day was absolutely amazing and a fantastic way to start each day. We loved the villa and the grounds and we made good use of the hot tub plus all the outdoor seating. Plus the Villa hosts, Antonetta, Renato and Maria are absolutely fantastic and took great care of us plus gave us great local recommendations.
This property is on a beautiful site on the east hills of Positano overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Positioned a mile vertical from the sea there is a staircase that goes all the way down to the water and the popular trail “path of the gods” nearby if you want to go for a morning hike. The host Giuseppe was so kind and makes amazing breakfasts each morning! He was so accommodating for directions or anything we needed.
The location is perfect if you want to avoid the Positano crowds! It truly is an oasis and so peaceful. the owner’s son, Fabio, met us at the Nocelle parking lot and carried our suitcases (!!) all the way to the villa. Amalia makes the best breakfast with ingredients straight from her garden. She is a wonderful cook. The small village of Nocelle is complete with a couple of restaurants, a coffee shop, and close proximity to Path of the Gods. Cannot recommend this stay enough!
Breakfast was so delicious! The owner was so kind and accommodating. The unit I stayed in had a private balcony and bathroom on the outside, which I liked as a setup. I was very comfortable and happy throughout my stay 😊. Thank you casa Maria!!
The town itself, Montepertuso, is a quiet little village at the top of Positano and I highly recommend staying up here. There are some delicious restaurants and easy access to path of the Gods.
We loved our time spent at Colle dell'Ara and I highly recommend you stay with them on your visit to Positano. The views were beautiful and the hosts (Marco and Paisa) were like family, patient, kind, and fun to converse with.
There are many steps up, and they are worth it! Don't forget your workout shoes to walk over and do the Path of the Gods hike as well!
