What an incredible unexpected pleasure! Our stay was excellent in every way. The location was outstanding; shopping, restaurants, attractions all walkable. Service was outstanding, made us feel like VIP's. Breakfast was excellent. The staff even provided a breakfast to take with on our early morning departure. Would absolutely stay here again!

This is supposed to be the third largest theatre in EU after...
This is supposed to be the third largest theatre in EU after Paris and Vienna....I have been in both and none are as dirty and bad maintained as Teatro Massimo...where you can see the humidity in the ceilings, the fabric on the coaches at the presidential booth all dirty with spill spots, walls with the paint falling apart, unreal if you don't see it by yourself. The theatre has one single floor level, so I was happy to pay for the tour and not for a performance as if someone toller than you seats in-front of you guess what you will see...exactly his head and shoulders...nothing more. The outside is nicer than inside.

Not worth the money and misleading. We paid 10 Euros each for a English speaking guided tour for half an hour. What we got was
1. The guided tour was actually an Italian and English tour, in other words, the tour was only fifteen minutes English speaking people.
2. The main theatre hall (the main attraction of the Theatre) was being used for a meeting. We could only take a few photos at the back of the hall while the meeting was going on.

We took a tour of this which was very interesting. It's an amazing place. The whole outside serves as a gathering place for people of all ages - locals, tourists, teenagers, traveling musicians who play outside, etc.

The room and bathroom was very spacious and well lit. The bed was very comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect. It's across from the Teatro Politeama and a couple blocks from Teatro Massimo therfore you're within walking distance for many great restaurants and the Capo Mercato.
This beautiful apartment is located in a completely renovated building that once belonged to a marchese. High ceilings, two small balconies, an enormous common room with a pullout couch and a large bedroom. Beds were great. Everything spotless. The location is halfway between the Norman Palace and the Teatro Massimo in the old part of Palermo. The street is quiet. We slept soundly with the windows open, but there is also AC. The owner, Domenico, can also drive you to the airport.
Hotel is in a fantastic location, very close to Teatro Massimo. Although it is above a lively street, the balcony doors are completely soundproof. There is a long staircase, so not suitable for someone who cannot manage stairs. The owners are the sweetest people who made us feel like they were taking good care of us, even though they do not speak any English. One note - we really appreciated the beautiful soft towels!! Highly recommend this hotel, great value!
Amazing apartment in the very heart of Palermo! Everything of importance (Quattro Canti, Vucciria, Mercato Ballaro, Via Maqueda, Teatro Massimo...) and worth seeing is just minutes away walking. The apartment itself is spacious, impeccably clean and easy to check-in/check-out. The host greeted us, explained everything in a couple of minutes and was of huge help when we forgot something in the apartment. When we return to Palermo in autumn this place will definetely be our first choice!
This apartment has everything you need also for a longer stay. We have been traveling with a small child, they not only provided a cot but also a high chair and a baby bathtub. Some of the main attractions (Mercato del Capo, Teatro Massimo) are nearby, others are further away, so if you like to walk as we do, this is the right place for you. The neighborhood is quiet and safe at night. All in all good value for money
A very pretty, comfy, and big room in a great location-- only a few minutes' walk from Teatro Massimo. Clean apartment. Towels and toiletries provided. Good Wifi. Some basic kitchen equipment to make yourself something to eat. A nice host. I really enjoyed my stay there.
Location, location, location. This apartment has a fantastic big terrace which overlooks the Palermo Teatro Massimo, and is very close to the main Palermo street with tons of great restaurants, bars, shops and nightlife. Loved our stay and would stay here again without hesitation.
Perfect location to be able to walk to almost all of Palermo's historic sites. Just steps from the lively and vibrant pedestrian Via Maqueda with its many shops and cafes. Entering the apartment is a bit of a time warp... at street level, it's an old building on the Teatro Massimo square. The interior is beautifully updated, modern, spacious and very well appointed.
Sara met us with the keys and was very gracious with lots of recommendations.
