The lady that works there and takes care of the people is amazing. Making sure we had coffee room very clean. She is amazing lady. The one that does the cleaning. Her boss was nice but didn’t speak very much English. But she was an amazing lady also. If we ever come back to Rome it would be the only place we would stay.

ABSOLUTELY incredible.
ABSOLUTELY incredible. One of the highlights of our trip to Europe. Just blown away.
Avoid July/August - we went August 3rd and it was way too hot. We walked up the dome and really struggled due to the heat.
Attending mass here was beautiful, with the incredible choir.

The Basilica was absolutely beautiful.
The Basilica was absolutely beautiful. There is a long line to enter the Vatican museums and Basilica and Sistine Chapel (free of charge but you can pay for skip the line access). You can also pay to take the stairs (500+) or to take the lift to the dome at the top of the basilica. I recommend the lift because there will still be stairs and they are very challenging, especially as you get near the top. Do not attempt if you have physical or health challenges.

Art and Architecture this place are incredible that you cannot understand and grasp everything in one visit!! One thing that’s really mattered to me is that I couldn’t see the baldaccino because it was covered for restoration.

A true marvel of architecture and art in general, beside the religious significance. Do not miss it.
Entering is free; we stayed in line for 30 minutes on a Monday, at noon. Not too many people inside and, being huge, the basilica did not look crowded. We wondered freely inside, seeing everything and taking pictures/videos.
Probably the best place to visit in Rome.

Entrance is free.
Entrance is free. Beware of the scammers around that are trying to sell you skip the line tickets. There is no such thing. Everybody should queue for security check. It may take 30 min to 1h, depending on the season of the year. October is a little bit quieter.

The queue was half way around St Peter’s Square but honestly, it moved so quickly that we were inside within 30 minutes.
A beautiful building.
Tip : Don't get caught behind a school group as they take ages to get through bag security as they all have rucksacks!
