The hotel was very well located. They received us very warmly and gave us a wine for our honeymoon ,that was a very sweet gesture. Everything was clean and breakfast was nice specially coffee, this is the only hotel I have stayed in that they make it espresso with a proper machine. It was really nice that they had tea, coffee and water infused with lemon at all times in a common space together with some pastries. Also they have a happy hour with wine and Prosecco that brings together guests in a very nice mood with music and great atmosphere. I definitely recommend. A nice detail is that they have double glass window to prevent hearing loud noises from the street. I can tell they care about details and comfort in general.

Ponte Vecchio
Peruse the shops perched above the River Arno on this pedestrian bridge. Dating back to 972, its history is the stuff of storybooks. Ponte Vecchio’s seen it all from noble feuds to ruinous floods. Once a market where vendors sold meat, the smell of raw flesh tossed in the Arno disgusted the Medici dukes. Today’s retailers are much less carnivorous (they’re jewellers).

Ponte Vecchio is an amazing spot to buy jewelry from jewelers that have been in the business for centuries. The price of gold is standardized so not much point going from each place to ask about the price of gold, instead find a store that specializes in what you're looking for and has the style you like. Some places specialize in gems, others gold, others vintage pieces.

Go really early for great photos without crowds or sunset and night. Bellisimo. Be careful when walking over the bridge in the day as it gets very crowded and artists put their drawings on the ground and if you walk on it, you buy it!

You have to buy something from 18-karat gold here☺️! It’s not cheap but gold is tradition in Florence ( and leather). But be prepared that it’s only not crowded in the morning (when only few shops are open though).

Our hotel was adjacent to this attraction so we had a daily view of it. The photo shown by booking.com does not resemble what it looked like in December. The bridge itself is wall to wall jewellery shops. A good time to visit is before or after they close. The shop fronts change back to the original wooden frontage and makes for a good photo.

Since I visited Florence four times in the 21 years, I know enough where to choose as accomandation. On our last visit, we took an apartment on the southern side of the river, the Bridge was just below our window. The city view is both fantastic and classic. It is the apartment with almost the same view of the location of the "hotel room" where the film "Room with a view" was shot. It is like a dream coming true.

We had a fantastic 3-night stay in Florence! The host was exceptionally accommodating, allowing us to check in early and even arranging a taxi to the train station for our departure. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a delightful assortment of snacks and beverages—a lovely touch. The elevator made it easy to handle luggage to the third floor apartment. Perfectly situated near Ponte Vecchio, it provided both comfort and convenience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Florence!
The view is beyond spectacular. Gorgeous!!! Great location and close to all the major sights. The street it’s on is fabulous with a market, gelato shop, coffee shop and restaurants. 1 minute from the Ponte Vecchio. The apartment is clean and neat with a washing machine and drying rack. The managers are clear and concise with their instructions and make the stay easy.
Located on backstreet between the Pitti Palace and the Ponte Vecchio, the placement is good for exploring the main features of Florence. Large, secure apartment for 2 people. Easy self check-in. No frills.... college dorm-style decorations and furnishings.
If we could give it more stars we would. This apartment was a true gem. It is newly renovated within an old historic building. So nice! The bed was amazing. Our best nights of sleep on our trip. Great coffee shop right down the lane. The apt is right down the street from the famous bridge Ponte Vecchio. Close to all the major sites. Highly recommend!
The hotel is located near the Duomo de Florence, few steps away from the Palazzo della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio.
The staff was very helpful ,professional .We had a large room with a nice king bed.
The location at the foot of the Ponte Vecchio was superb. Hotel Continental was cutting edge 20 years ago as is still modern. The rooftop bar has lovely views.
This property is amazing. Located in central Florence with easy 15min walk to train station and all the tour assembly locations. It is two bridges west of Ponte Vecchio on the Arno river giving you a front row seat to all the great sunset views. This is a lovely boutique hotel with a great management team that makes you feel at home. They had great suggestions for local dining, set up reservations when needed and provided drinks and snacks at any time of day. I can't wait to go back.
Very good location, close to all major sites of Florence, under 10 mins to train station and Uffizi gallery/Ponte Vecchio. Hotel staff is kind and helpful.
The apartment was superior and the owner/manager was extremely helpful. The rooftop patio was a bonus, historic Florence. It was extremely close, two 1/2 blocks from the North side of the town / Arno River and the Ponte Alla Carraia bridge, and three blocks from the Ponte Vecchio (old) bridge. It was a block and a half from Piazza Del Pitti. The nieghborhood was close to grocery markets and eateries, Say hey from Patrcia to Tony around the corner eatery/takeout.
