The hike to the caldera not bad at all.
The hike to the caldera not bad at all. I'm 80 years old and not an athlete, but I made it with a few breaks along the way and I wouldn't have missed it for the world. It helps that the altitude is lower than where I live in the States.

If you are travelling in Spring, pick a day that is NOT...
If you are travelling in Spring, pick a day that is NOT cloudy! The mountain is covered with mist and we had to wait 20-30 minutes and we got lucky with the Sun. You cannot see the Crater otherwise. Also, you need to trek 20 minutes up the sand road. Wear comfortable sneakers and pack a jacket as it is cold up there.

The self-checkin process was easy, the room spacious and comfortable, and the host very kind. The location is really convenient (close to the central train station so accessing trains and buses, as well as car rentals was no issue, whether we wanted to roam around in Naples or get to the surrounding sights like Pompeii, mount Vesuvius etc). ☺️
Fortuna was an amazing host with exceptional customer service skills. Knowledgeable and friendly, all of her recommendations were perfect. Loved the hotel and location which was near the US consulate, plenty to do with stunning views two blocks away of Mount Vesuvius.
Staying in this apartment was pretty cool, it was very comfy, cozy, beautiful apartment, with really warm and attentive hosts and amazing views of mount Vesuvius. Hosts were so sweet, kind also helped me and my friends to book taxi, because it was rainy day and we couldn’t go to the streets. I’m so happy to booked this apartment, 100% recommendations from me.
Spacious and elegant accommodation (we had the apartment) in the middle of the Spanish Quarter, so location couldn't be better. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. If the weather is good, breakfast on the terrace with a view of Vesuvius is spectacular.
The apartment is clean and comfortable and in a wonderful location close to restaurants, shops, and sites. The area is easily navigated on foot and is full of things to do. The apartment is clean and reasonably well equipped. The roof top patio is an excellent place to have morning coffee and evening drinks. The patio overlooks the square below, the city rooftops and best of all Mount Vesuvius.
It is a spacious apartment, which is well equipped. It has a balcony with amazing views over the Bay of Naples and of Vesuvius. The staff member we dealt with was Dario who was excellent. He met us at the apartment and gave us a good introduction to the property. He also arranged an early morning taxi transfer to the Airport.

The apartment was comfortable, clean and the host was friendly. They did everything they could to make us feel good, helped with parking, gave us hints, really nice people. There's a place with amazing views of the city nearby, and you can see the sunrise over Vesuvius from the apartment.
Very good location,easy to get a ferry to Capri, easy trip to Pompei and Vesuvius. Cosy apartment, we didn’t need more. Danilo was very nice and helpful, gave me info about places to eat, ordering a taxi for me when we left.
