Very nice appartment in a separate building behind the main house. Quiet and beautyful but still very close to the center. Friendly and helpful host. Was alone but this would be perfect for a couple.
Set 3 minutes’ drive from the sandy beach in Mondello, family-run Camera a Palermo offers air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge and kitchen, and a sweet daily breakfast.

Such a lovely place and warm and caring host. Hats off to Silvia and family, the way they run this beautiful accomodation. Very clean, you have all that you need and the property is tucked in a peaceful area of Mondello. Beach is just 15-20mins by walk, but if you don't want to walk, there is a free bus 87 that takes you to the beach or you have the normal bus 614 too.
The room was big, clean and a big wardrobe to store your things comfortably. The bed is so comfortable that we slept like babies. The bathroom too is perfect with all the amenities and spotless. Every morning Silvia cooked delicious breakfast for us. She always asked our preference and informed us what she would cook the next day and asked us if that was ok. We really felt so much at home and felt as if we are a part of the family. She is an amazing lady always smiling and passionately runs the business. There is a beautiful roof top terrace where you can relax and the breakfast is served there every morning. So we enjoyed it along with the view. One day we were also offered a ride to the beach by her son for free. Such a generous family. I would definitely return to Silvia's place. The beach as well was beautiful and not that crowded as we visited in the end of September.
All in all I give 5 stars to Camera a Palermo.💙

Great outdoor space when the weather is nice. We hired a Chef to come which was perfect. I'm glad there was a couch so at least 2 of us could sit there vs the table. I was glad there was coffee and body wash.

Mondello is a little bit boring sicilian town, with less attractions and do not have this lovely Italian vibe and tasty food ( just a few places) . The beach is fine, but organization not. The sea is wonderful!
A little bit disappointed ,that we have chosen this place on the Sicily for our vacation, Taormania and places around it are the way more beautiful! Recommend to stay there.

I would NOT recommend Mondello simply because it is so dirty!!! There are many other beautiful CLEAN beaches in Sicily and it was extremely disappointing to see this. Even the town is not clean - the streets are not clean and garbage everywhere. Totally NOT worth it!! Go to the southern part of Sicily

Mondello is stuck somewhere at the end of the 80's and is the last place to visit with family and kids. There is nothing to see or to do. The beach is anything but clean. Houses and streets are degraded and no one seems to care. Streets are dirty, piles of trash are everywhere.
Altough there are restaurants, the service and the offer is far behind of anything you get in other places in Italy. I would not visit Mondello again, but if one does want to go, I would advise to spend no more than one afternoon. Check out the "not for marketing" real-life photos of what you get when walking around or trying to take a look to the sea from the window of "Holiday & House - Imparato Vacanze Prestige Mondello", Via Delfini 7, 90151 Mondello, Italy.

This was my first time to Mondello.
This was my first time to Mondello. Overall, it was better than expected. My family was looking for a simple beach trip, and Mondello served this purpose very well. There were plenty of restaurants for us to enjoy in the area. There were private beach access areas where you can rent some beach chairs and an umbrella, plus plenty of public beach areas to access as well. If you needed to go into Palermo, you can catch a few different bus routes. We used the 806 bus route to get into more of the heart of Palermo in our case.

Mondello has a lot to offer anyone, from singles, young and old, families and retirees. We went in early May, so the weather was a bit on the cool side, but there was still plenty of people on the beach. The crowd size at that time of year was manageable. There are plenty of places to eat and we enjoyed good food. It is a very walkable area. It is not a far drive from Palermo City Center (average 30 -40 minutes depending on traffic).
Me and my girlfriend stayed at Green House for a week, and it was truly amazing! The location was the best considering it's right by Mondello beach. In addition it's easy to reach the Palermo city center! :) The host Emma also took great care of us. All in all a great stay!
B&B Mondello Design was a perfect choice for our honeymoon! The property is gorgeous and a short walk to the beach & restaurants. It’s very easy to get to Palermo by bus. All the staff were fantastic and the breakfasts were delicious.
Very comfortable room and bed, high level of service, very pleasant general atmosphere. Mondello beach is a walking distance, and the place its quite close to Palermo and Monreale (you'll need a drive though)
Excellent hotel with very kind people who welcomed us. The room was very clean everyday, and the hotel is very closed to the main places: beach, restaurant, stores. We loved our holidays in Mondello.
Simple adequate hotel at a reasonable price.
Easy to 'commute' to Palermo centre by parking up at the nearby railway station with a 20 mins ride into the centre.
