Fantastic hotel. What made it most special for me was the staff and I mean ALL the staff. Francisco greeted us as our car pulled up. He was gracious and most genuine. Grace helped us with our day and night trip to Capri. The view from our room was gorgeous. And the pool and grounds are stunning. Very relaxing and the picturesque Italian movie experience. I don’t generally return to the same place twice but this hotel will be a must again. The walk into Sorrento was about 20 minutes give or take 5 and yes there is a bit of an incline on the way back and a narrow sidewalk. It was not an issue at all for us however people with mobility issues may not enjoy this. Thank you Hotel Bristol, and see you again.
Make yourself at home at Maison La Minervetta. Its cliff-top setting in Sorrento means that you have breathtaking views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius.

Marina Grande
Nestled within the multi-coloured Amalfi Coast, this picturesque port is one of Italy’s unspoiled gems. Handmade wooden fishing boats are peppered along the stretch of sandy beach, while local seafood restaurants offer their catch of the day. Shops and rustic houses lean against the curved rocks, and the simple décor and straightforward way of life give the area a nostalgic vibe.

Love this place!!
Love this place!! Still maintains the old fishing village vibe in this hub for eating and drinking. Da Giniello Bar has the best Limoncello Spritz with mint, gorgeous view of sunset and a charming bar owner named Luigi. O’Puledrone Ristorante is run by a family of fishermen and serves freshest catch of the day. Friendly wait staff and excellent service. Be prepared to stand in long lines, but they work efficiently to seat you at a table in no time.

It’s only about a 10 minute walk from Corso Italia, and just down the road is the little fishing village Marina Grande. The bathroom is in the room. The check in looks like a normal hotel desk and feels very secure.
We loved the location in Marina Grande. It was very walkable to Sorrento’s many restaurants and shops, but steps to a bus stop if you prefer not to walk. We also loved it because it was nestled into a neighborhood and could experience a little local flavor. Jessica was extremely helpful and friendly and the housekeeping was spot on. I would stay here again if returning to Sorrento.
Location was great nestled right in Marina grande. Having never been to Sorrento my husband and I were glad we chose a place down near the marina, it was much quieter than being closer in the town square. Easy access to the free beach and great restaurants/bars. Breakfast was amazing! Staff was great. We will definitely stay here again!
Host met us as soon as we arrived in Marina Grande. Francesco was the best host we have ever had on any of our trips / stays ever! Assisted and organized so much for us which enabled us to make the most of our limited time in the Amalfi coast! Apartment was great, met all our needs and we will definitely return.
Lots of lovely spaces to lounge outside of the room. Rooms were somewhat small…the only ones available were the economy rooms which were not bad at all but as we had 2 rooms I can say one had a bit more room and significantly better lay out than the other. The showers were great - spacious and good water pressure.
Walkable to the Marina Grande, train station and old town Sorrento which was our focus.
Location was perfect. Suite Annare is the best apartment in Marina Grande. The property is absolutely gorgeous and perfectly situated overlooking the marina. My family was very pleased with the hospitality and kindness from the hosts Raffaele and his mom Anna. I would definitely come back to this place.
The property location and balcony were simply amazing. This is the biggest balcony on Marina Grande beach. It’s just steps from the water and everything you can need is nearby. The apartment was very clean and well stocked with everything we could need. The owner helped me with checking that our train was not involved in a strike and was available by text if we needed anything. She periodically checked in with me to make sure our stay was going well.
The location was amazing just steps away from a beautiful free beach, Spiaggia di Sorrento in the Marina Grande.
Apartment was recently remodeled with appliances, furniture and everything was in a brand new state.
Super easy to walk up the path to downtown, takes about 15 minutes to get to Piazza Tasso in the middle of "downtown" Sorrento. About 15 minutes to walk to the port in Marina Piccola, for taking a ferry to Capri or Naples! Easy access to train station in downtown also!
The apartment near the entrance of the public park, which connected to the port via walking path and an elevator. The location was near almost all the important spots such as Piazza Tasso and Marina Grande - walking distance. The room (we rented one bedroom) was big with clean condition - and was with mini kitchen. The staff there was very accommodating. And you get a discount with the restaurant (Naima) attached to the apartment. The breakfast had a variety of food which felt like home-made and with good coffee and juice.
