Loved our stay here - walkable to all we wanted to see and do in Lucca, yet in a quiet neighborhood away from the touristy areas/noise in the evenings. We learned that this used to be the home of wealthy family, converted into a stylish boutique hotel. Breakfast each morning was lovely, including made to order eggs. Staff was very attentive and helpful, especially Pina. Highly recommend.

Grand Universe Lucca, Autograph Collection is just a few steps from Lucca's Cathedral and easy walking distance from the train station. It is set in a historic building with elegant interiors.

Worth it. +/-€6 pp. no elevator, verry narrow stairs at the end. Planted trees on the top and gives a unique experience and great for photos. Not a lot of room to manoeuvre because of the trees. Go when it's not busy is recommend.
The apartment was very charming on the top floor with views of Guinigi Tower and rooftops. It had everything- a washer with a place to dry clothes, a full kitchen with coffee and everything you need to cook, separate comfortable beds and blankets. Inside the wall and very close to the Anfiteatro and everything! The host allowed me to check out late and was extremely attentive whenever I had a question and responded immediately.
The courtyard and garden area is beautiful. Free coffee in the morning. Excellent location in Lucca centro storico near Anfiteatro and Guinigi tower. Staff are very nice and helpful.
The location, apartment and host are wonderful. Get ready for some old stone stairs. THat helps to keep you in shape. It's worth it though for those who are fit. View of Guinigi tower oaks!
