Our stay at Le Funi hotel was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. We were delighted to find out that our room had been upgraded in celebration of my husband's birthday, which made our experience even more special.
The thoughtful gestures from the staff truly made our stay at Le Funi hotel stand out. They surprised us with a delightful aperitif, and the restaurant team went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed.
The hotel itself is stunning, boasting a prime location with the most breathtaking views of the city. Every detail, from the elegant decor to the comfortable amenities, contributed to an unforgettable stay. We will certainly return, as this visit has left us with cherished memories and a desire to experience the hospitality of Le Funi hotel once again.

A small yet luxurious and impeccably clean hotel. It is cheaper compared to other Italian hotels but offers its guests stylish and modern rooms and an abundant breakfast. The staff may let you stay for free after the check-out time (which is at 10:00 a.m.) if it's needed. They can also store your luggage and at the moment you arrive they start explaining you all about Bergamo and its fascinating landmarks. I have visited Petronilla twice and it's always the best place for me when it comes to trips in Northern Italy. I am definitely considering at least one more stay.

This place is a gem. Professional, tasteful and in an area that was lush, green and attractive. Five minutes walk from church and a great local restaurant. Opposite vineyards. Great area to run and cycle and just 20 minutes to walk to the historic part of upper Bergamo which is otherwise a nightmare to park in! The staff were without question the most pleasant of people, the breakfast comfortable, great coffee, pastries and cooked eggs etc if you wanted it. Would like to return.
