Fantastic experience and all recommendations! Reception desk staff makes the difference with politeness, they helped with all the information needed. Great parking place in front of the hotel. Spacious and very clean bedroom. Very easy reachable location with public transport just in front of the doors. Very calm neighbourhood area with restaurants and markets in walking distance.

The hotel is based in Venice Mestre, which is an excellent base to visit main lagune. The journey by bus takes about 15-20 min and the bus stop is about 5 min walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is situated in the heart of Mestre, with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops near by. The main square is vibrant and lively yet not too loud (at least in January).
Breakfast was superb - good selection of pastries, fruit, cereal but also continental meats/cheeses/hot bacon etc...
The room was good sized with comfortable beds. Very clean and spacey shower with free toiletries. If I was to go back, I would definitely stay here again.
Hotel Aurora is right in front of a bus stop offering direct links to Venice, and Venezia Mestre Train Station is located 2 km away. It features air-conditioned rooms with TVs.

The hosts were very friendly. We had 2 dogs (10 Euro each per night) and there were no problems at all. The private parking (10 Euro per night) felt very safe and was inside a private courtyard. The breakfast was ample and the cappuccino lovely. The bus stop to Venice was only 7 mins walk away from the hotel.
