The location is outstanding, in the middle of Ferrara, close to all of the historical sites and buildings, restaurants, etc. The host arranged for parking directly in front of the hotel which was incredible as there are only two spaces that require permits from the city authorities which he arranged on our arrival, completely un-anticipated and without additional cost other than the normal tourist tax. The host at the reception was very congenial and helpful in every way! Great value for the money! As it is in a historic building, there are limitations to what can be done to offer more amenities, but that is its charm!

Sadly, it was under scaffolding when we were there in late...
Sadly, it was under scaffolding when we were there in late September. The interior was quite dark but we discovered that there are light switches next to some of the paintings which provide timed lighting for photos.
