Hotel is wonderful. Breakfast was amazing. Location with nice view is very comfortable to visit Etna. We regretted, that spended there only one night.

Beautiful building in a very good state. Exceptionally clean rooms and facilities. Complimentary spa on site with pool, sauna and steam room, which was amazing. Also very nice outside pool. Gourmet restaurant on site with excellent food.

I made straight for the Rifugio Sapienza hotel there right...
I made straight for the Rifugio Sapienza hotel there right next to the Cable car to Mount Etna. I was glad I did it, avoided an early morning drive up. But the hotel was not a place to get some sleep... Was a pretty LOUD and full of mountain bikers who stayed up late and got up early and were LOUD! :)

We chose to walk independantly from the top of the cable car...
We chose to walk independantly from the top of the cable car. The bus goes higher but you do not get long at the top station. We walked to a fumerol and took our time watching Etna blast dust into the sky. The volcano was producing fine ash as the crater wall was collapsing, it was not safe to go very high so we decided it was not worth paying for a guided tour.

Only a brief stop-off on my trip but could have happily stayed longer. Apartment has everything you would need and very clean. Owner was lovely and very accommodating, including providing a complimentary breakfast. Perfect location for Etna parkrun.
Very nicely located for a hike to the Etna. The hotel had a great ambiance and view. Staff speaks good english and tries their best to make you comfortable. Vivienne was exceptionally nice. Would recommend.
They also can make you a lunch package for the tour which is well priced and very very nice.
There were ten of us and we had rented both apartments. We were allowed early check-in. We were greeted by the wonderful landlady Daniela and her husband. There was coffee, sugar, salt, oil. We were given a voucher for refreshments on Etna. We were like in a dream the whole stay. Amazing.
Excellent value for money. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pool was brilliant and spotlessly clean. The hotel was not busy at all this time of the year (end of May), which was a plus for it family. The location is excellent for exploring Mount Etna and if you want to keep away (like we did) from the hustle and bustle of Catania. Nicolosi has several shops, restaurants and bars and you do not have to visit the city of you don't want to.
The property is really amazing! The apartment is spotless, clean, comfortable. The pool outdoor is perfect for hot days to relax. Location is amazing! You will do 20 minute to Etna, and 30 minutes to Catania airport. Nicolosi is a beautiful village.
Inside you have a kitchen where to cook, a coffee machine and fridge. Like a suggestion it will be useful some oil, pepper and some condiments.
We had a little treat, something for breakfast like muffins, toast and jam. We had an amazing time here ❤️
The property is in a great location for visiting Mount Etna. It's in a quiet area, with plenty of room to park outside the property. The apartment itself is modern, clean and comfortable, with all the amenities required to make basic meals.
The owner met us when we arrived and showed us around the property. He was very attentive and friendly and was quick to respond to messages.
Close to the town centre and within reach of the coast, the apartment also has the bonus of also being close to Mt Etna and Nicolosi Parkrun.
Gio provided supplies for breakfast, fruit and a great cake freshly cooked! Great!
Of all the apartments I encountered on my travels in Italy, this one was by far the best, well cleaned and most comfortable one. I felt instantly at home. The location is very nice and close to the etna. On top of this, the host was extremely friendly and spoke pretty fluent English. Would go there again anytime.
