I have stayed at the Maritan a couple of years ago. It was nice then, so I came back for this visit. Exterior had been nicely renovated and painted. Looked like new. THE ROOMS HAD ALSO BEEN RECENTLY RENOVATED. VERY NICE JOB. EVERYTHING WAS NICE. Looked new, very clean. I think they are renovating the lobby area soon which will finish they job of making it look everywhere like a brand new hotel.
THE STAFF WERE ESPECIALLY NICE AND HELPFUL -- ARRANGED CALLS FOR TAXI SERVICE, etc.
