The hotel is in a fantastic location within the old city but 5 minutes from the bus stop. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also spotless. The breakfast was delicious. All of the staff ( cleaning, dining and reception) were friendly and helpful. The staff on reception were excellent, providing any information we requested as well as offering advice on sightseeing, dining and public transport.

The location is just amazing. Outstanding view, very kind and helpful staff. Their restaurant was closed that day but they advised us another one 50 meters from there - and it was just perfect.

The place is wonderful. The owners are the nicest and most helpful people we have ever met. The rooms are kept in great condition, the cleanliness is maintained at a high level, the food served for breakfast is always fresh and delicious. The location is in a beautiful setting quite close to the old town and at the same time it is a very quiet area. We will gladly return there more than once.

We found the cultural stuff in Bergamo more digestible, particularly the Accademia Carrara Museum. We are lovers but not experts when it comes to art and the scale of Italian Art History, a lot of places are too big to really get any kind of handle on anything. It just turns into an incomprehensible mass of Renaissance stuff. The Accademia Carrara was much more manageable, a pleasant 2 hours and nicely laid out with a clear descriptions in both English and Italian giving a clear timeline.
