The host were really friendly and felt like home. The ambience of a wooden Kerala house brought back to me so many fond memories of my childhood. The place is nearby to boat jetties and so many eateries ...it helps you to explore the place more. The place also has an antique shop and a museum which was cherry on top:)

The property is right on the backwaters and you can watch all the boats go by. It’s great for relaxing with a book and enjoying the scenery and birds. I had a lovely and time just sitting by the water and trying to figure out what birds I was looking at. Jose was very helpful and gave me information about train times and ferries. I had a lovely Ayurvedic oil massage on site as well.

location was amazing. The staff was very good and food was amazing nice home style food. The manager of the resort was very helpful and had arranged a nice boat ride in the backwaters. Had a pleasant stay.

The grounds were clean (except for in-built water bodies which were stagnant & stank) and well maintained. Flora was good. The view into Vembanad Lake was good.
Staff was always courteous, though checkin took time in spite of us arriving late by 2-3 hrs after check-in time.
Evening entertainment (tabla-flute combo musical) was decent. Artists played really well.
Breakfast spread was just fabulous. Location is 10 out of 10. Fabulous surroundings. View of Vembanad lake from our room was indeed breathtaking. A must visit resort while in Kerala with family. Didn't want to leave the resort. very friendly staff, great food, beautiful landscaping throughout. Our room was lake view room on the first floor and it was just amazing. Room size was also very good.
Clean room and amazing breakfast spread! Really good view of the Vembanad lake.The cottage bathroom had an open air shower which has good amount of privacy as well.
We liked the location of the resort just on the edge of the Vembanad lake backwater. The resort is surrounded with beautiful homes which have backwater channels around them, and it is supremely quiet where you can just hear different birds chirping around you. You will be left mesmerised with the interior design of the rooms, walls of which are baked bricks - architecture of the place is influenced by Larry Baker style.
