Cannot recommend Vismaya enough! The food was the best we ate in India, everything was so fresh and there were beautiful flowers everywhere. Loved spotting chameleons and fireflies with Vinod!

The temple is great and its quite a big one among the Kerala temples. Be sure to visit the temple in the evening or in the morning. Once the sun becomes hot walking around the temple on bare foot would be a bit difficult as the walkway and the sand around the temple becomes quite hot.
In the morning and at night there is a procession of the idol around the temple. You can follow the procession and we did it during the night one at around 8 pm. Its a temple well worth visiting.
