What is there for me to write about Taj - sung by poets over centuries, reasearched by Historians and No.1 tourism site in India. I do have some tips - (1) Do not miss Taj at Night during Full moon (only 3-4 days around full moon time this is permitted to limited no of pre-booked visitors. The annual calendar & permit days are available in ASI website. Also, plan to visit during non-foggy months for one too see TAJ in its full glory. As no photograhphy is allowed, it has to be stored in memory and recalled for life; it is worth it and seen to be believed / experienced. (2) Visit TAJ at least 4 times - early morning at Sunrise; Sunset; normal daylight; and, Moonlight. (3) Stay as close as possible to the TAJ for easy & quick reach.

Get there early in morning at opening before sunrise.
Get there early in morning at opening before sunrise.
Avoid locals who say they are not guides but work there and try to speed you around and take photos for you with your camera, They are a Pain and demand a payment/tip for taking mediocre if not poor photos and will spoil your enjoyment of the place. Similarly you really want to experience the whole atmosphere and ambience of this place so paying a guide to “rush” you round is not a great move.

I strongly suggest to wake up very early and to go there at opening time (just before sunrise) so that the temperature is good, it is not crowded and the colors of the sky make this monument even more fascinating. There's not too much to say about the Taj Mahal, one of the 7 wonders of the world. I think it should be seen in person at least once in a lifetime.
Inside it is nothing special and there are fake guides that tell you some information for money

Go early!
Go early! I arrived at 5am to queue, I was pretty much the first person in there when it opened at 5.30 it was amazing and beautiful and peaceful. By 6.30am it was already getting crowded and by 8 it was very very busy. I was so glad I listened to my hotel and went early.

Book your ticket online a day prior and take a morning slot.
Book your ticket online a day prior and take a morning slot. It gets very crowded and hot later in the day. It is usually open on all days except Fridays. Also, if your dates coincide within 2 days of the full moon, you can make a special booking to view the Taj Mahal in the moonlight. But this booking has to be done a minimum of 24 hours in advance.

This hotel was excellent. I stayed in a few places in India during my trip and this one was the best of them. The food is good, the rooms are very nice and the staff are helpful. I was happy to hang out downstairs in the restaurant for hours with a book. It's a 20min walk to the Taj Mahal East Gate (where you'll enter the site). I would absolutely stay here again if in Agra.
Decor at the property is lovely, service is great right from the moment you arrive. The king size beds is the most comfortable we have slept in of all the hotels in India. Roof top view of Taj Mahal is delightful. Breakfast has a nice variety with again great service. Highly recommend this hotel.
The pictures are real. This place is amazing and Aman and his family are wonderful hosts.
The rooms are modern with great aircon and fans. The beds and linen are comfortable.
Aman’s mother is a wonderful cook and his siblings are also great hosts.
15 minute walk to the Taj Mahal is a great location and I recommend the nice and safe walk before sunrise to see the Taj is its best light.
We stayed in other well known, more expensive hotel chains in India and this was definitely our favourite.
Excellent value for money and perfect location to visit the Taj Mahal by a 5 minutes walk. Very friendly staff. They helped us to organise the transfers to other cities and a rickshaw driver for a whole day for great prices. Our double room was even better than we expected. New furniture, big and comfortable bed, very spacious and very clean. We didn´t feel like the room was a hostel, instead it felt like any room of a very good hotel.
An excellent small hotel run by a very friendly family, close to shops, restaurants and just a short distance to both Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal - walkable for the energetic or a quick tuk-tuk ride to either. The standard of the rooms was the best we encountered in India at this price point. The central communal area between the rooms was a bonus for us. The area was very quiet and safe.
The staff, the room, the rooftop, the place closed the Taj Mahal.
In 5 hotel i try in India, that's one was the best quality/price for similary budget.
Fantastic hotel, super clean and the perfect location to see the Taj Mahal, we stayed in the hotel longer than expected because we were super happy to spend the days here, thank you all very much if I return to India this is my place 💪👏
Perfect location, 5 minutes walking from Taj Mahal. Very nice and helpful staff giving a lot of useful information about Taj Mahal and the hotel. Good restaurant service next door belonging to the same owner. Very comfortable beds, cortesy water, and first really clean bathroom visited in days while travelling through India.
The hotel is stunning! Beautifully modern whilst lending itself to Indian heritage. We had a delicious dinner overlooking the Taj Mahal, and our waiter truly went above and beyond. Would highly recommend this hotel
Beautiful villa just 5 min walk from the Taj Mahal. Had a lovely bedroom and bathroom. Like a 5 star hotel . The villa has a nice rooftop terrace with viewing platform and you see the Palace . Nice to chill in the evening.
We all had breakfast together and the host is serving tasty Indian breakfast dishes
I arrived in the afternoon and my Host booked a tour to the Agra Fort then took us to a nice restaurant. In the morning I had a sunrise Taj Mahal tour arrange by my host
