I had a truly first class experience at this hotel. The proprietor, Ranjeet, manages to be both extremely competent and also tranquil. And these qualities are manifest in this small charming hotel. I spent a great deal of time on the roof (sunrise and sunset) which has a view of the lake, and is well equipped with pads and cushions for sitting. Breakfast is served on an upper floor of the hotel, which feels like an out door living room. The porridge is a culinary triumph! If you are coming to Pushkar, you should stay in this shanti hotel.

It is a very cosy place, near the Pushkar lake. The rooms were clean and well maintained and very tastefully decorated, without frills yet having everything to make a guest comfortable. This is a very fine balance difficult to achieve. The property also has some amazing sit outs in the terrace where one can spend time relaxing. The owner Ranjeet is very helpful and friendly, and makes sure a guest is as comfortable as possible.

Bedroom was spascious and clean. The owner, Rahul, is super welcoming, very easy going and always happy to help. Also, his mom cooked amazing Indian food.
There is also a lovely rooftop where I enjoyed stunning sunrises or sunsets.
The view from the hotel is fantastic, full view of Pushkar lake, mountains, temples. You can witness the whole India Pujas and bathing activity from the amazing rooftop.
Its located in the main road so very practical for shopping and sightseeing.

If you want to take in all the magic that Pushkar has to offer, without constantly being emerged in it, then Kota Kunj is the most wonderful gem you can stay at. Located right on the OTHER side of the little Pushkar lake, you will have the most amazing view over this magical town. We stayed in the smallest room, but the hotel has so many cozy corners on the property, that the size was never a worry !!
