Staff were very welcoming and allowed us to check-in early. They also gave us a complimentary upgrade which was nice (although this came after we rejected paying for an upgrade which makes me think it perhaps suited them to give us one).
The staff at breakfast and at the entrance to the hotel were very kind and courteous.
