Ask for Sairam, he is the manager over there I guess. I enjoyed his hospitality and the way he assisted me with the trip. Over all everyone were very kind and welcoming. It is perfectly located, near the lake it is just few minutes away. The property looks very beautiful espically the main hall/ dining.

Scenic beauty across the lake is very good.
Scenic beauty across the lake is very good. The drive to the lake is amazing. However, from parking to the lake is quite some walk. Food joints around the lake are manageable but many might not feel them hygeneic. Get your own water bottles and be ready for a walk.

Great place to stay, amazing view, very convenient for families and near to the kodai lake. Stay has given a great experience of our trip. It's a gated community with a restaurant in the community, so it was safe and convenient.
We reached there in the night, so felt like we landed in a remote place but next day morning we found that there are multiple stores nearby, market in a kilometre where you get everything. It's also near Kodaikanal lake (2 to 3 km).
I strongly recommend this place.
Friendly and courteous staff. Mr. Kasinathan guided us well on the sightseeing option and helped to get the permit for visiting Beijam lake.
Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Food was homely and tasty.
Nice, comfortable stay and great view of the mountains and valley. Not too far from the main city/about 10-15 min drive from the Kodaikanal lake,
Superb location.. Coakers walk, Bryant Park, market and kodaikanal lakes are just a 5 min walk away from the hotel… The host was pleasing and very cooperative. Rooms were neat and spacious.. the only one problem I see is there is no restaurant inside the hotel.
The location of the hotel is good as it is close to the lake and you can walk and cover the Kodaikanal lake, Bryant park and Coakers walk. Breakfast was very good however dinner was not that good.
Villa Retreat is excellently located just beside the Coaker's Walk and very close to the Bryant Park and the Kodaikanal Lake. The property is very well maintained. It is very well decorated with efficient staff. The food was excellent and had a lot of variety. Support from the reception desk was very useful and helpful.

It’s walkable distance from the Kodaikanal lake and city market. Also it’s bang opposite to Kodai international, where you get some yummy lip smacking buffet.
My second time at the property. It's in a prime location. Many restaurants are on the street on or in immediately connection roads...like Astoria veg, pastry corner in one direction and hilltop restaurant in another direction....Coaker walk, Bryant part and Kodaikanal lake are walkable...bus stand is walkable and SRS bus terminus (bus from Bangalore) is opposite the hotel.
